Dollar General — Local services in Vanceboro

This morning I Very Quickly needed Benadryl for my brother who was out walking from having Open Heart Surgery June 30,2025 and a wasp stung him on his hand. He’s Extremely Allergic to any wasp, bee, hornet venom. Of course at all times we didn’t have any Benadryl. I hurried to Dollar General in Vanceboro and the 2 young ladies working went over and beyond to help me get it from the shelf to purchase so I could get back to give to my brother which fortunately worked so he didn’t have to go to the Emergency Room. Listen. I don't know who I'm going to report this to in corporate but I am. My 5th visit in two months and EVERY TIME there is a Bluetooth speaker up on the shelf playing music at a 4 out of 5 level. I promise. The music they are playing is the kind that may discourage people of color from shopping. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes being ignored by the 2 associates in the store. I could see them and they could see me. They were too busy laughing and joking to involved in their personal conversation to assist a customer. I left with out my items.
