I have bad luck at this place. My wife, on the other hand, she loves the food here. I left a bad review almost half a year ago. I just deleted it today. I said would follow up in that review. So, here it is:
I received a call after the last review (I thought that was awesome customer service). The man I talked to was from the corporate headquarters. He encouraged me to give them a little while and see if there was any improvement. Throughout this half year I have been going ever so often. I really like the food when it's prepared properly. The customer service has improved. Here comes the"but". I, personally, don't get well prepared food. I gave up on the bo berry biscuits. They are always way over cooked, here. Every time I get chicken, it's also over cooked and dry(I always get a 2 piece dark). In my experience, dark meat is not supposed to be dry. When I get supreme dinners it looks like they used a fryer that hasn't had the oil changed in forever. Also, with the supremes, it makes whatever I drink have a funny taste. Maybe the taste is sour out bitter?idk. It doesn't matter if I go or someone else for me. Here's where I made certain I said personally. When my wife, my coworkers, people sitting at the table while I make an order, it doesn't matter who. As long as it isn't associated with me, the food looks/tastes great, even when I try theirs. So, I know they can and do make great food; and have improved. It's either me, or "the grass is always greener." My wife tells me to go somewhere else when she wants bojangles. We made humor out of it, cause her food is always better whenever I'm not involved. This is my updated review. The staff, including cooks and frontline employees, have been noticed using the restroom without washing their hands afterward, yet they continue to handle food for customers. This behavior is concerning and unhygienic. The overall atmosphere and service are lacking in sophistication and refinement. The establishment's cleanliness, including the bathroom, is unacceptable. We have witnessed employees dropping food on the floor and then serving it to customers, particularly in the drive-thru or when ordering at the counter. The management's leadership style and behavior are questionable, and their approach to customer service is inadequate. As someone who frequently reviews establishments, I must advise potential customers to exercise caution. The hiring practices appear to prioritize quantity over quality, which may compromise the overall dining experience. It is essential to consider the importance of transparency in food preparation and handling. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment. With over 250,000 subscribers on TikTok, 100,000 on Instagram, and 350,000 on YouTube, as well as a blog featuring articles on various dining experiences, I must emphasize that this establishment falls short of expectations. But i didn't realize it until i got all the way home. Didn't check it bc i normally never have this happen at this location. I called and spoke with the manager DELLASIA FREEMAN. DELLASIA FREEMAN turned the deep fryers back on and remade my order!!!!!😊 ABSOLUTELY an awesome employee!!!! Also there was a $5 difference In the order, and she made that right as well !!😊 She went above and beyond for me, and I absolutely appreciate her for that!! !!!!!!!!GIVE THIS EMPLOYEE A RAISE AND PROMOTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😊 I have never...... encountered a fast food place that would have even answered the phone... let alone fire the deep fryers back up and make things right with a customer after they have been closed for 15 mins !!!
