Dance Fusion Northwest — Local services in Vancouver

I’ve always been a big fan of Dance Fusion NW and its outstanding artistic director/owner and cadre of accomplished instructors, but since the pandemic my admiration has risen through the roof. Every member of the Dance Fusion staff should be recognized for their contribution to our community and to the health and well-being of all the dance students. The entire staff has consistently set aside their own challenges during these trying times and have put the kids first. They have tirelessly innovated and adapted in the face of frequently changing restrictions. They are unfailingly upbeat, positive, and supportive of each dancer. They found ways to keep dance fun even when classes were taught over zoom or they had to film performances in small groups and then cobble the film together. Their can-do attitude has inspired and energized the dancers, who have learned that they can still make progress and have a good time doing it, and that the show can go on, even when there are big obstacles. If you are considering a dance studio for yourself or your kids look no further. Dance Fusion has been like a second home for us over the past 10 years. My daughter started in 1 class and quickly fell in love with the family friendly environment, supportive and very professional instructors and of course the Owner Carla who puts a personal.touch on every recital, class and interaction. ESPECIALLY during Covid the studio went out of their way to put the kids first and give them technology options and small socially distant classes as state rules allowed. We moved here from out of town and this dance studio helped both of my children quickly adjust to a new home. The dance studio is a big family and were very welcoming. I have spent a lot of time backstage and I most enjoy watching the children interact with each other. They are a true team, helping each other out when they need to quickly change costumes or if they are missing anything. They also help each other with parts of dances that a dancer needs assistance with and need very little adult assistance with problem solving.
