I was busy all day and didnt eat any thing and it was getting late.. I was craving some tofu fresh rolls ; so I did a search for the best fresh rolls in Vancouver Ei8ht noodles was one of the frist places to pop up. After looking at the photos of they're fresh rolls and seeing how good they looked i hopped in my car and drove over there. What a disappointment. Frist the fresh rolls look nothing like the photos on Google. They turned out very skimpy and small and not at all what I was expecting. As you see in my photos. But what is just as bad if not worse is being over charged.... the menu says $10 for salad rolls i ordered two orders. When I went to pay I was unpleasantly surprised at the price $25.66. I asked the attendant and she pointed at the taxes... but i said it still shouldn't be that much money. She again pointed at the receipt saying the taxes. And I didnt look closely at that moment to see what they charged me was $11.75 for tofu fresh rolls. Unbelievable. Update your menu. It's completely unfair and unethical to false advertise one price and then charge a higher price. Never again..... if the tofu fresh rolls were super good like I was expecting I wouldn't be half as irritated. But they wer not, they were small and didnt have much in them. See my photos.

Waste of gas and a 18...

Gr8 noodles. In8 charm. Short w8. Small pl8.

Ok, now that that’s out of the way, let’s get down to Thai tacks. The steamed buns with BBQ pork were not what I was expecting, but were delish. It’s a flat steamed bun folded over the pork with cilantro. Delicate and light, will add to my list of things I want to learn how to make. Once seated, you order at the counter and they bring the dishes to your table. Service was pleasant and attentive. They asked my friend how spicy he wanted his Pad Thai, he said zero spice, I got the Spicy Tom Kha Ramen with coconut milk and they also gave me zero spice. Both dishes were sweeter than we expected, not bad, but they cook sweet there. Considering they dish was called Spicy, I was expecting spicy. But even then, it was flavorful and nice. Not huge portions for the price, but we weren’t disappointed. Presentation was nice, the place felt clean and the staff were welcoming. Both server and cook called out thank you on our way out. Would I make this my regular place? Probably not. Would I fight dragons to get there or walk a mile in the snow? Unlikely. If I’m going to order spicy, I want sweat dripping off my nose by the time I’m done, or at least a condiment tray so I can give it a little...

We ordered take out. It’s our first time ordering and I was unsure of what to get. But I saw the daily photo which was teriyaki chicken on Instagram, so I ordered that for the family. Well. We were very pleasantly surprised! This little gem is not far from us and I had always walked by. But I won’t be walking by no more. This was probably my best take out ever. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Veggies fresh. The sauce really good. Not the overly sticky stuff. It was light and really tasty. One thing I’m gonna mention about the veggies. I don’t like them raw crunchy. I like them cooked. But not limp. Those carrots-I could eat a bowlful!!! I’m 68 and I’ve never had a carrot quite like this. We love to go to really good restaurants and eat good food. The carrots were cooked to absolute perfection. I don’t know if we hit it on a good day or not but these were steamed through. Then some kind of a sweet sauce barely noticeable on the outside just ever so light. These folks know how to cook! Based on my takeout we plan on going back...

Authentically prepared Asian dishes with quality ingredients and generous portions, that have unfortunately been ruined by a focus on American tastes - seasoned with sugar and salt, rather than fish sauce, lime and other more Asian flavours. The dishes themselves have all the makings of the real thing, but are way too sweet and salty. The tom yum for example was sweet as a dessert, though filled with delicious shrimp. The avacado mango salad would have been amazing if it was made with traditional sauce/dressings but was ruined with table salt seasoning instead of fish sauce to bring saltiness and umami flavours. Huge amounts of perfectly prepared shrimp, big chunks of mango and avacado. I told the staff that it was too sweet, and they brought limes to add some acidity, and fish sauce to bring some flavour. 3* food, 4* service. Will likely be back if we're in town again, but will ask them to prepare differently.

Hey everyone! We just had a fantastic meal at Ei8ht Noodles in Vancouver, Washington and we were really impressed! We ordered the strawberry mango milk tea, duck noodles, and for dessert, a delicious sticky rice with ice cream and mango. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the tea was refreshing, and the dessert was the perfect sweet finish. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. And the restaurant itself is super clean and cozy, which made the whole experience even better. If you're in the area, definitely check this place out amazing food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
