Joy is the best and I would have given 5 stars. However; AGAIN, she is not getting the products she needs to do her job. This reflects poorly on the salon, not on Joy. I'm not certain who is in charge of ordering products and ensuring the staff get them in a timely manner, but they are obviously not doing what they are supposed to. Joy was going to use NY top coat on my nails because she was not sure she had enough of the product she needed. I told her I DO NOT want NY top coat used on my nails as my nails peel every time we have used it. Who wants to have their nails peel or look poorly after spending that much to have them done. Luckily she had just enough of the gelish top coat left to use on my nails. Using poor products on clients and staff not having the proper products is a good way to lose clients for the whole salon. I'm hoping someone can get this issue fixed as I have been a client since Maranatha first opened it and stayed after Sarah took over. I have also recommended this salon to several friends, relatives, and even strangers diring that time. First off, this salon is BEAUTIFUL! The layout is great, the cute clothes in the lobby are adorable, and the vibe is positive and welcoming! Next appointment I will ba taking advantage of the fancy drink menu! Second, my hair stylist Alayna, was the perfect match for me! Our conversation was natural, she is extremely talented, knowledgeable, and has great discovery skills. I poorly explained what I was looking for and what I was scared of getting, Alayna was on the same page and in the same book as me! This is the first time in I don't know how long, I walked out of a salon feeling awesome! I have already rebooked with Alayna! Third, I also had a gel manicure with Kyley! It was awesome! my first time back since they moved, service was quick but when the guy started to do my hair I brought up my curtain bangs and he said so framing your face and I've heard them called multiple things and he's probably a few years older than me so based on how he looks I'm going to assume that he's fruity so I figured he'd know that, but he didnt.
