ACM Computers — Local services in Ventura

Short: ACM Computers is communicative, knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced, and trustworthy.

Long: I chose ACM purely for their reviews. I’m mostly computer savvy but my issues were beyond my understanding and online DIY research wasn’t fruitful. ISSUES: Wifi adapter failed, sound card failed, occasionally stuck in a reboot cycle, and could not run driver updates for failing drivers. So, after purchasing an external USB Wifi adapter (which worked for about a month) and spending hours attempting various online computer hacks I decided to take it to ACM. They were awesome! The key is that they are knowledgeable. For example, Alex called to ask if I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 or keep 8. I expressed hesitation to upgrade because of bugs I heard about. Alex patiently gave an overview of the evolution of improvements in Windows 10 from release to present to inform my decision. Based on that information I felt comfortable about switching. I’m happy it wasn’t a “Windows 10 is better, and you wouldn’t understand why” sort of response. I would have kept 8 if that was the answer. Thumbs up for professionalism! Take your computer here, they are here to help not to take advantage of you.

I couldn't be happier with my recent visit to ACM Computers! The staff were both professional and friendly. I had taken my computer in for some overheating issues that were quickly resolved. Not only did my technician, Rocky, fix the problem, he went above and beyond to make my computer run optimally. Rocky had kept in touch with me several times throughout the service to update me on any progress and gain approval of extra work.

Before going in, my computer was a mess. I had cables everywhere, parts improperly placed, and dust EVERYWHERE. Rocky not only cleaned the parts, he re-installed them properly in such a way that it would be space efficient.

I only wish that I could thank Rocky and the entire staff more than with a simple review! I will definitely recommend.

I have been bringing all my computer repairs here to fix. they are courteous, timely and very conscientious of my data. They took great strides to protect my data. I went in for a partition problem on my D drive which was stopping my windows updates. Come to find out my windows 10 was corrupted. They took an image of my computer so once finished they can reload with all programs in tact. they label all the power cords I gave them to insure I get the right one back. I have my own accounting company so my data is sacred as is everyone's. I can't be down very long and they are very fast and efficient.
