Four Brix Winery and Tasting Room — Attraction in Ventura

My fiancé and a good friend of mine were so excited to come to this winery. We went yesterday and stayed for all of 10 minutes because of how uncomfortable we felt (I’m hispanic, my fiancé and friend are black). I have seriously never felt so unwanted in a place of business. Everyone else was receiving wonderful, attentive service but we were failed to even be greeted once we sat down. 10 minutes and absolutely no acknowledgement only to walk out and see the staff literally lounging around near the entrance. We tried their wines about six years ago and thought we would try their tasting room again. So glad we stopped by today before we left the area. Not only were the wines really good, the breadth of what they now offer is amazing! We just couldn't make up our mind what to take home so we joined their club!! Looking forward to many years of being pleasantly surprised by the winemaker's choice and access to some special that only club members can get. We made a random stop in Ventura during our roadtrip and we are glad that we stopped by! The tasting room has a great, inviting atmosphere, and an added bonus was that we were the only ones in the place!
