What an absolute horrible experience had here. I brought my Google phone 3 days before warranty expired for a warrantee issue. I was told that they would get it taken care of because they are and authorize global repair center. They did not have the port they needed so they had to order it but he did not come in until 3 days later when the warrantee expired. Now I dropped my phone off so they had it when he was in warranty. However the get part after warranty expired so they told me that they could not fix my phone because it was now out of warranty. I told her that it made absolutely no sense because the form was given to them while still in warranty and it will be have to call Google. I spent time calling global and they told me that they should be able to fix it as long as the phone was dropped off in time and there is nothing on there and they can do but just has to be the repair center that takes care of it. Well Long story short 2 weeks did have my phone without repairing it and they keep having managers that are either sick or unavailable so no one has taken ownership. The manager that was dealing with is going on paternity leave and did not leave any notes for anyone to follow. The staff at the store had no idea what to do. Finally literally 2 weeks after I dropped the phone off a visiting manager from Simi Valley, Avi, took ownership of the situation and agreed that this is an issue on there and and I should not have to suffer while waiting for them to figure out how to activate the warrantee. So he authorized the technician to go ahead and just fix it and they would figure out how to bill Google later.
So I just want to give to Avi for taking ownership and getting this done. However the oversight of management at this company is abysmal and it took 2 weeks to finally get a visiting manager to come in and deal with the situation. Unless you are forced to go here because is the only place your warrantee allows you can go to, I would not recommend using...
Read moreI brought my Chrome TOUCHSCREEN laptop in for repair. They told me it would be $300, but if I signed up for their insurance club for $30/month, it would only be $150 for a new touch screen . So I signed up, paid the $30, plus $150, and left my computer there. They told me it would be about a week. They called a couple days later and said my computer was fixed. I picked it up and tried to check it, but it wasn't charged. I brought it home, plugged it in, and realized they replaced my touchscreen with a regular screen. I brought it back. This was now my third trip to the store. They said they made a mistake and were still waiting for the part. They assured me as soon as the part was in, they would call me, and I could come in and have it fixed instantly. I waited. And waited. 8 days later I called them and tried to find out what the holdup was. They called me back and said the part was in. I went to the store again (4th time) and they said it would take two hours. I returned to the store in two hours (my 5th trip), and they handed me my laptop. I turned it on to see if they fixed it, and it was still not a touch screen! 13 days passed. Five trips to the store. I demanded to see the manager and get my money refunded. I explained everything to the manager, Tyler Miller, and he refused to give me a refund. He wanted to put my broken touchscreen back on my computer. I told him he is not touching my computer - he had 13 days to fix it and was obviously not competent to do so. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau. I also made Asurion aware of what happened and they...
Read moreUpdate December 2022: I've had a very different and disappointing experience with this place when it came to my laptop repair. 1: Poor communication with me: when I dropped off my laptop for repair I was given no indication that there was a week-long wait for the tech to even start looking at my device. I called after not hearing any progress info, and was then told about this delay. I only heard any info if I called them, they never gave me updates as promised. 2: They damaged my keyboard and denied having any responsibility. I was told the manager would contact me in a couple of days after I brought this to their attention. When I heard NOTHING from him after 2 weeks and multiple calls, I went back in person and asked for the manager. He was indeed there and made lame apologies for not contacting me. Denied that the cracked key on my keyboard was their responsibility. Surely if I had brought in my laptop for repair I would have also asked them to replace a cracked key if it was cracked when I dropped it off. It is very easy to notice because the keyboard is lit up green. I will have to find someone else to do business with.
Very knowledgeable and HONEST! This is the second time I've brought my phone in, and both times the issue was minor, and they fixed it in minutes, free of charge. Mike helped me today, and he was awesome- immediately figured out the problem was a little clog, not a need to replace the part in question. I highly...
