Bogner Quality Meats — Local services in Vernon

Quite a variety of deli type items - jarred olives, crackers, pastene products, frozen shrimp and fish, more - all in addition to their huge butcher offerings. They have mostly everything you could want - although sometimes they’ll need to order for you (for instance, there appeared to be no lamb in stock…but I did not ask since I wasn’t looking to buy any)

Most of the serving staff seem over the top friendly and accommodating, but it has to be said, there’s a younger weasel looking gentleman, short and thin, stubbly blackish beard with the single most poorest attitude I have ever encountered. The dour service he rendered me…the abject inconvenience that my simple order of two tenderloin steaks seemed to cause him, wild eye rolls and exasperated breathings, I almost left empty handed. I did not get his name - but next time I venture in - if I do - I won’t let him serve me. Even if I need to wait. There are other choices near by. Even the grocery might mske a...

Okay I'm rewriting this. Everybody was very friendly and smiley. As usual the steaks are unbelievably tasty and the bacon perfect . And their sausage always right on target.For the first time we bought chicken thighs in the eight pack. These babies were juicy thick way better than any store we get them cuz I buy chicken thighs all the time. Y'all got to try this chicken. Love this place always walk out under a hundred bucks they have lots of other stuff. Always nice to see ( My Papa Sauce ) if you haven't had that sauce yet you should really try it. One of the nicest tasting sauces out there and it's local. And also Wagner's has the best steak sauces always on the shelf. I have to drive 20 minutes to get here from Glastonbury to Vernon. But I think I'm going to start to do it every week I love it. Plenty of parking and they go out of their way now to be friendly and help you. We live close to the Manchester store, so I go there very regularly and they are the most amazing people, so it doesn't surprise me much to find that Vernon also has some of the amazing people too. Helpful and informative, it is really a pleasure to go shopping there, and they have meat. As an example I asked if I could get something they ran out of on the shelves, and before I knew it they were handing me exactly what I was after. The prices are very good, maybe higher than your supermarket but that reflects the much higher level of quality.

I'm going to continue going to Manchester because it's 3 miles away, and you seen the gas prices? But if I have to go to Vernon because it is a day that Manchester is closed, I'm not giving up anything, other than gas...
