Tuxedo LA - Warehouse Film Location - FilmStudioLA — Local services in Vernon

This is by far one of my least favorite film studios in LA. They are very strict and will stick their nose in every part of the creative process. The owner has a big ego and was extremely unwelcoming. She also owns Popsicle LA, which has a played out ceiling backdrop that you see in every music video and commercial. When she is not around, her staff would follow us 24/7 taking pictures and recording us with their phones & many security cameras in & around their property. Would not...

Some shocking and inappropriate things occurred during filming here: they had hired a electrician to come DURING our shoot who was playing with lighting during live takes. It was surreal. their staff member helped themselves to our dinner catering without asking

Our full deposit was also not returned. All aforementioned digressions were met with attitude...

Nice location to shoot at. Plenty of room in studio for big setups. Lovely backgrounds. Gated parking and easy roll up door for loading. Had a few minor power issues but we made it work. No grid but good support beams to hang rail from (16 feet to beams so a scissor lift is highly recommended). All in all a...
