I asked for a trim with some added layers on top. Maria (the first station on the left) CHOPPED at my right side ONLY, didn't give me the face frame I asked for, and tried to catch an attitude when I said she cut hair different than I'd ever seen. Her words were "You either like it or you don't. " The whole hair cut came out horrible and uneven. I have been stuck having to wear ponytails for the past 2 months + because you can literally see right through my hair on my right side. There's no hiding it. She didn't style it either. She globbed hair product in my hair and told me to just let it air dry after I asked her over and over to style it because I had a date after the appointment. The appointment was made for a treatment, wash and style btw. I left the hair salon looking like I took a shower there and had to go to another salon for them to diffuse it to try to make it look even. After diffusing and teasing, I still couldn't make my hair appear even. Maria is very unprofessional and under qualified to be working there. Unless you're a friend of hers like the client She rushed me out her chair for, you WILL NOT get treated well. She will do whatever she wants, how she wants, and then expect a tip afterwards too! Mind you it was said out loud that she was still training, but they didn't supervise the cut at all!...

I had an amazing experience with Maria my first time here! I had let a friend of mine in hair school play around with my color in the past and it was bleached and uneven and my roots were terribly grown out. Maria had to put in a lot of work to get me right! She was in there working like a chemist to even out my color. She did a PHENOMENAL job. And not only did she correct my color she had to correct my hair cut too. I’d been getting “curly cuts” for a while now and my hair was super uneven. I told her I wanted to start wearing it straight again but couldn’t because it was so jagged. She gave me really nice layers and cleaned up my cut.

I came to her and basically asked her to fix everything and she did exactly that and did it WELL. I will only be seeing her for my hair from now on. I was extremely pleased with the overall environment of the salon, very clean and organized, I could tell a lot of people are regulars there and I see why. The pricing is extremely reasonable and I really felt it was money well spent. I told her my budget and she made sure to work within it and give me a great result. merp, horrible experience, I drove from Allentown Pa to take my mother, as this was her Mother's Day gift... The stylist was very nice but did not take into consideration, at all what my mom wanted done, even though we showed her pictures and explained it to her multiple times AND the color had to be done twice. The owner did not look nice or approachable and when my mom asked to speak to her she was very condescending and kept TELLING my mom what she asked for instead of asking her. To top it they use highlighting caps in a professional salon. I'm not sure where these 5 star ratings are coming from but tbh this salon is absolutely horrible. I paid $108 for a cut my mom wasn't even happy with. I should have argued and requested to pay half for the crappy job that was done but I was ready to get out of there. I'll just let everyone know by word of mouth that this place is not the place to go if you want a complete change of look. Needless to say, we won't...
