Normally a good store. Today friendly service. When we got to our car my wife checked her receipt to find an overcharge on our purchase. The add said the pop sale was for select varieties of Pepsi products. Usually never an issue but the sale price was not reflected on receipt . My wife went to customer service and asked for a refund on the difference. She was told her selection was not on sale.......... She came back out to car and told me of her experience. I reviewed the online add. I had driven 10 miles just for the benefit of this sale. So I called the store and asked to speak with the manager of the store. I was screened several times about the topic of discussion for the manager. Even transfered back to the customer service desk. That did not fulfill my request. Finally I was transferred to Ben, the store manager. After introductions I asked him politely if he could tell me what selections of Pepsi were on sale. Valuable information for the consumer.........He responded that he was not on that side of store and could not answer hmmmmmmmm. He asked me to further explain but not without tone. He offered some explanation but nothing conclusive. I did state I can make this a corporate issue, before I was told he could have resolved this issue while we were there. I responded good, My wife will be right back in an he can meet her at customer service. He agreed and my wife did receive her appropriate refund.......I can say Meijer first needs to refrain from writing loosely worded adds. Say what is on sale, Not verbage like certain varieties. Guessing is not my game especially when I am coming in to purchase specific items. Secondly when someone requests the attention of a manager that is the request. Not to explain over and over.Thirdley the manager needs to lose attitude when asked a simple question. In all we did resolve everything but I did not find it pleasurable to jump thru hoops for such a simple request. No 5 star...
Read moreThe company used for online ordering is very flawed. When I placed my online cake order for my daughter's 6th birthday, who was also recovering from the flu, I never received an order number or receipt in email or text. Then going to receive the order I was contacted via text by two different "shoppers" they call them, to confirm my pick up. I thought it was strange I figured a cake that is prepared at the bakery would just be picked up there. But no I was I was instructed to get my cake that was paid for through my shopper and that all I had to do was text him upon arrival and he would bring it out. I recieved two total text from him, I informed him I was on the way. So after I dropped off my husband at work I drove to meijer. I parked in the pick up lane and texted him I was there. It had taken me 30 min, from the last time I texted him, to when i texted him i was there to pick up. I got no answer. I then tried to call his number and the number of the other shopper and both numbers were now non-working numbers. So I called the company and because I had no order number they could do nothing. Because I was getting upset, I thought I might lose my baby's cake, the woman at the company did try to issue a $20 credit so I could reorder it. What had happened was the shopper that had my cake returned it to the store and canceled my order. So I basically had to go back and repurchase it and wait for a refund from the company....
Read moreI went to the Canal Winchester Ohio pharmacy yesterday to pick up my RX and after seeing the cost I decided to have them transferred to Kroger as I am a member of the rx program. Kroger called me and said that my blood pressure medicine rx had expired. I told them that was impossible because it was filled and ready for purchase the day before at Meijer, but I would take care of it. I then called Meijer pharmacy and spoke with Matt the pharmacist and he told me the same thing and kept saying sorry, sorry and then abruptly said -your going to have to hold and never came back on the line. When I got home I looked at my bottle and it said the refills were good until 9-2020. I called Meijer back and when the call was answered it was "hello"- I said is this Meijer and he said yes it is Matt, I inquired about what my bottle said and he said it was no longer good. After an argument he said oh yeah you do have a refill and he would call it into Kroger. I am so angry with this customer service and I will now take ALL of my rx out of Meijer. My husband and I have been going here since they opened and I am now pulling all my RX out. That is poor business and this individual is not good for the company. Sorry Meijer, you need better training for pharmacists on customer service. On a good note- Heather is the best pharmacist and kindest you have....
