I gave 1 star only because it was impossible to give zero stars. The employees are SO RUDE!
This was the third visit in the past few months and all 3 visits have been unpleasant. Subway has always been a family favorite for food fast but I will NOT be giving this location another try. During the first, it was not long after reopening from Covid-19 closures and the employees were very rude, acted like I was bothering them by being there and they were complaining the entire time I was there about HAVING to return to work and they shouldn't even HAVE to be there. "Nobody else is working". I figured they were just having a rough day. We all do sometimes. No ok but.... The 2nd, two weeks later. The same thing, only this time it seemed like I was the only one being treated differently. I hadn't even spoken when one employee frowned and said to the other "Uh uh, this one's yours". I didn't want to think it was my skin color because I just don't think that way. The problem is, I WAS the only white person in the building and the only one beingspoken to in a completelydifferentwa. Then this visit...my daughter has been asking for subway for days. I said yes because she has been through A LOT lately. I walked in and before I could even get to the counter to order the employee shouted out to another "Oh no, uh uh. We be done. We be trying a close". It wasn't after closing time yet so I stood for a moment confused. Then as she turned to the black customer in front of me and spoke to him politely, she turned back to me and said "we ain't tryin ta do this". I wasn't sure what "this" was. ??? I looked at the other employee who just looked at me with a bit of a shocked look. I decided that I was done. I didn't say anything to anyone. I just left. I will NEVER go there again. I have NEVER judged anyone by there skin tone and I am SO angry that it was somehow acceptable to do this to me. 3 STRIKES - YOU'RE OUT!!! Subway...SHAME ON YOU! Awful customer service! I left without my food and they had my money. Don't go to this subway they lack empathy, understanding, business ethics, and common sense. A simple we will make your sandwich and sorry for the inconvenience would have been nice knowing it's not the customer fault their system is buggy. I waited for over 3 hours trying to get my money back or the store manager to make my sandwich. The store manager even spoke to my bank who confirmed my card was charged for their store and yet the store management refused to make my sandwich. The store manager contacted the owner who stated they wasn't home and out Christmas shopping and don't give me my food until they make it home to confirm and find the charge 3 hours later the manager never made it home to resolve the matter.
