Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Went there with positive vibes...just wanted a treat for my 2 year old daughter. I asked for a kiddie and the young lady seemed frustrated and said "we have a small, we dont have a kiddie" ....okkkkkay....so I'll pay the small price but may I please have toddler cone. I also got a hot fudge brownie sundae, but asked for the topping on the side...since I was driving and didnt want it to melt. I waited a spell at the window and she eventually gave me my purchase...however, the amount of fudge and marshmallow topping (marshmallow was additional) barely covered the cup...and when I say cup I mean a cup the size of the ketchup cups at McD's. When I asked her about it she said that it's just a drizzle.... but it was the way she said it. Still I kept my cool...and asked for my receipt. She looked lost and I asked again. She then rolled her eyes several times....like, I asked for extra stuff for free. So while she diddled with the post register I asked the dude what her name was...lol, he said he didnt know. I get it, dont throw her under the bus. I guess she didnt want to deal with it so she gave him the receipt and I said....nah, what's your name. And asked why she rolled her eyes and she st- st- started stuttering making up lies but I was too quick and she couldnt hang. Long story shory.... Lily was having a bad day and I hope it got better... but I cant say I'm going back there. Nah.... we can go to Carvel...

I ordered 1med. wet walnut sundae. They asked any other toppings? I replied, no. The med. sundae screen price is 3.39. So why when I pay it totals 4.39. This has happened two times. So I am guessing it is correct pricing for the sundae. I think it is utterly ridiculous to total 4.39. Why? Because I am ordering a 1 topping sundae. I am not getting any other topping besides the wet walnuts. 😒...So unfair, I will not be ordering it again priced like that. A lil more I could have a banana split, with more everything. That is my first complaint. The second complaint is the tiny amount of syrup and nut placed upon my sundae. I kid you not I almost could easily count the walnuts. And very little syrup on it. It is suppose to be wet nut walnut sundae. Not almost dry walnut sundae. Third I am alone, it is 8:00p.m. and I am handed my sundae with NO top for it. Second time having to ASK for a covering for the sundae. Others said they have to ASK for a covering for their sundae. And then no receipt was given. I wish I could give -3 stars... Dairy Queen used to care.....sad they do...

I hate to say this but this is by far the worse Dairy Queen in the area. This is the Dairy Queen I always go to but after tonight I will never go to this location again. I’ve had my order messed up several times, in the sense that they aren’t making my order correctly. And I’ve gone at least three times and I’ve ordered a blizzard but got mushy liquid instead. It’s not even a blizzard at all. I've hoped that these occasion were a few mess up here and there. The poor quality has pretty much been consistent the past three months. I’m irritated that I’m wasting my money on 4 dollars and up ice cream to get terribly quality. Avoid this location. At least until they do better in regards to their customers and better...
