First of all let me start by saying I entered the salon and was completely stared down by everyone. My appointment was at 5pm I got there at 4:55. The lady then told me we will be with you shortly. Shortly was at 5:40! Pm she started with my hair . She immediately started criticizing my hair saying it was super dry and I need to cut it like lady I don’t need your opinion just gently wash my hair. She then forced me to do a treatment on my hair so that the owner can eat using that as an excuse like are you serious? Waited another 30 minutes while she ate with the “treatment” on my hair which in reality was conditioner seriously?? Finally she washed my hair and started rollers I was under the blower for about an hour which is normal. But after I was done she took off the rollers and left my hair a complete mess I gave extremely curly hair And didn’t even ask or bother to straighten my roots. Poor customer service skills every other person that came in was in and out with beautiful hair and super quick service on the other hand I’m white and Hispanic and they made me feel out of place and very uncomfortable in the sense that I was treated poorly and basically kicked out of the salon rushing with my hair because the salon was closed already still with two more people behind me and I then had the audacity to charge me for the stupid treatment I didn’t even ask for And refused but was still given the treatment for that the owner can eat her food to kill time. This has been the worst service ever! Sadly I came here because Dominicans are well known for their expert skills in rollers and blow drying hair, not here at this salon. So disappointed and annoyed. Me and my friend went to have our nails done right after work at around 5:30pm. We wanted to have our nails look nice for work since super bowl is coming. My friend wanted simple french nails. The woman not only ruined our nails but also did not listen to what we wanted. She even made my friend scrap off her own gel nails. The nails were crooked, had bubbles and were falling off by the next day. All the nails fell off and my friend had to get them RE-DONE some where else. This place charged her $40 for this service.
