Here is my review of True Spec Golf...

I spent the better part of two hours today at True Spec Golf with Gus going through several options for my irons and driver. The facilities and equipment used were top shelf, state-of-the-art, with all the major golf brands represented from Titleist to TaylorMade, Mizuno, Callaway, Srixon, and others. But what way surpassed this environment was the expertise, focus and consideration received from Gus and Jackson.

I have had three lessons with Jackson and while in this fitting today, the two of them collaborated and developed a plan for me that we will execute at my next lesson. The new irons, shafts, driver and hybrid we worked with showed promise for improving my game. I was well impressed! I look forward to a conclusion which looks like my getting into better irons and shafts for the game I have today and to finally break down to put a hybrid in my bag!

I highly recommend that you schedule a fitting at True Spec Golf. If you love the game of golf like I do and want all you can get out of your equipment and your golf game, you have to see these pros at True Spec Golf in the Rick Smith Golf Performance Center at Trump National Golf Club in Doral, Florida.

OK... So, after improving my game through instruction, having a Southwest Golf week in Tucson and Las Vegas in March then coming home and breaking a rib, I got with Gus to get fitted for a new set of irons today, mid-May.

I could repeat all that I said previously as to the attention and expertise I received. I left today after buying a new set of irons that are a great improvement over my current irons. I'll have my new irons shipped by True Spec Golf in time for a summer outing and for my weekly play soon.

I had a complete fitting on Tuesday October 12th with Gus. It included irons, hybrids, fairway woods, driver and putter. I cant begin to tell you how great of an experience this was. We started in a private bay that was completely outfitted for the fitting. Gus discussed my game with me and what I was hoping to get out of the fitting. I was looking to update my entire set and wanted to take advantage of the updates in technology since my last fitting. He had me hit a few shots and then the process started. He pulled different iron heads and shafts, and kept changing the combinations based on the results we tracked on the launch monitor. Gus did a great job of explaining the changes he was making and why we were making them. These changes continued until we found the optimal match for my swing. We repeated the process for the hybrids, fairway woods, driver and wedges.

With the putter we went to a separate room in the facility and measured my current putter and then I was given several options to try. In addition to measuring my swing and my alignment we discussed putting strategy. Once we had found the putter that was giving me the best results, we went out to the practice green and then put the new putter to the test which it passed with flying colors!!!

Overall it was a great experience at a first class facility. This facility was clean, had every combination of club and shaft you could imagine along with world class professional conducting the fitting. If you are looking to get the most out of your game, getting a set of professionally fitted clubs will be the best investment...

There s a reason why True Spec Golf is the best golf fitting in the entire country.

Firstly, they aren't paid by any particular brand to push their own interests. They put your game performance as only priority.

Secondly, they aren't rushed and staff is very very very knowledgeable.

The system is very advanced, I'm not an expert but I believe they have all the latest technology to give you all data you or your swing coach may need. You will start hitting your own clubs and they will build the fitting from that.

Word in the streets is that True Spec is expensive. However, you can see their fees when you book online. The rest is the material you will purchased following your fitting. If you have a specific budget, you can tell the fitter and he will consider in the material selection.

I honestly enjoyed the time at the True Spec Miami. I kinda feel i want to get re-fitted just to enjoy the experience :)
