I was initially going to give it two stars but the unexplainable behavior after was enough for me to bunk this down completely. Specially in times like now we understand how scary and stressful it must be for fast food workers to keep working the hours they do and only work drive thru; however, that DOES NOT justify how rudely my mom and I were treated when we went today to get something. The bad attitude began as soon as my mom asked if there was anyone who spoke Spanish, which it doesn’t really matter since she speaks English but she is more comfortable ordering in Spanish. Well as soon as she said that the lady taking the order began to have an attitude and once we pulled up to the window we were welcomed with a bunch of attitude and ignorance. Then we were asked to go park somewhere to wait for the food and my mom asked if there was anywhere specific we should park, and the lady proceeded to rudely point at my mom and told her to “Find anywhere to freaking park.” So we did and we waited for our food. After 20 minutes my mom got off the car and went inside the place to ask how long and the lady working started to yell at her telling her that she had to wait more time and it’s something she should’ve known. So when my mom said she did not know, the workers started arguing between one another and blaming each other for the service. But definitely what tops the cake was that NONE OF THE WORKERS WERE WEARING GLOVES AND THEY HAD THEIR FACE MASKS HANGING FROM THEIR CHINS. A complete violation to the CDC and FDA COVID-19 standards. As much as I like Popeyes and this one happens to be the closest to my house I rather travel a few more miles to another one where my mom won’t be treated unjustly or anyone for that matter. This all occurred on Saturday April 11th...
Read morePopeyes is my favorite place for fried chicken. That being said, this particular location is a train wreck. The parking is inadequate when it's busy. The drive thru lane actually snakes thru the parking lot either blocking the few spaces they have from being used or preventing customers from leaving. Secondly, the front end staff has always been helpful, however the back food prep staff is lost. They seem to be playing around and three of the employees had ear buds so they didn't hear the three different calls from the front staff to drop more chicken. The wait times when busy (especially lunch time) are unacceptable. Countless people get out of line and leave once they see the inefficiency. Additionally, every time I go inside, (I've been several times) there is a 4 person table right by the door that is full of papers, receipts, and usually a laptop. That table in the dining room seems to be the "manager's office". This too is unacceptable. There is limited seating for customers and office work if for the office, not the dining room. Finally, I went yesterday evening and they were out of mild chicken tenders and did not have any ketchup or any of the numerous dipping sauces they usually offer. They said "the truck was coming tomorrow." I know this is a relatively new store but running out of all condiments is one thing, running out of chicken is another. I appreciate that there are growing pains and a learning curve when opening a new location. All of the problems stated above could easily be addressed with better planning and oversight from corporate. Hopefully, the learning curve will begin to straighten and this place will be as good...
Read moreToday i ordered through the mobile application at the 5875 NW 36th Street Virginia Gardens , Florida 33166 location. I had received an email confirmation of the order and a confirmation through the app that the order had been placed. Also, I was given an order number for my place in line once arriving in the store. My number was 41. When I arrived they were on about number 25. I waited over an hour. While waiting there were numerous disgruntled customers complaing about waiting too long. Three people requested their money back and left before getting theor food. There were a few instances where GrubHub or Uber Eats drivers came to pick up food and they were either told an order was never received or someone already picked the order up. So finally I hear number 43 and 44 called. Upon realizing it was pass my number I informed the cashier that i was skipped, she informed me there was no record of my order in the system. I had a pretty large customized order from co-workers consisting of 8 different combos which is why I chose to use the app before arriving. The manager did nothing to try and compensate me in anyway. My card was charged however they said they couldn't cancel the order since they had no record of the order. How could I get three different forms of confirmation and the store not have my order? This store's operation needs a serious audit because the customer service is HORRIBLE! Now I have to call my bank to cancel this order! This is definitely no chicfila! I will definitely not be returning to that store and maybe any other stores. This was...
