Babies in Bloom — Local services in Vista

I’ve been to the Babies in Bloom Store numerous times and have never had a bad experience until recently. I live locally in the area and work with children for a living so I like to see what is new and any sales going on. I also have lots of nieces and nephews that I loved shopping there for too but will no longer be shopping nor supporting this business after my embarrassing and horrifying experience that I had there recently. As I was looking around the toy section I was approached suddenly by the owner Rochelle, and in quote she says “Can I talk to you” and was taken a back because wasn’t sure what was going. She goes on and ask if I can talk with her in her office, which looking back now would have NEVER done because made me feel sick to my stomach. So when I get to her office she immediately starts to falsely accuse me of stealing from her store which is not true at all and says in quote “It’s in your best interest to not come to the store as often” which again was taken a back because I have done absolutely nothing wrong. And I told her you are wrong and have never stolen anything and then goes on to still put blame on me. Then, proceeds to say “When you touch something it makes you look guilty that your stealing something,” which at this point I was boiling up inside because I was again being falsely accused of nothing. She then goes on to mention “I don’t want you to get in trouble since we now have security, and basically putting me out to look like the bad person. Once the conversation that felt like forever was over I left the building feeling disgusted, assaulted, racially profiled, discriminated, and just utterly shocked that someone with no class could be so disrespectful, hurtful, and make my character look bad. Which anyone that knows me knows that I’m a good human being that only like to engage with positivity and support others. I never thought I would have to write a negative review to a store that I loved supporting but I don’t want any other person to go through what I went through. I will never step foot in that store again nor support people that make people feel awful for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I hope other customers will see this because no one should support a store that makes...

(This review is strictly on the birth center) Words will never be able to fully express the gratitude I have for the center, midwives and the staff. I met with Rochelle in hopes that I would be able to have the birth I always dreamed about. Rochelle was more than accommodating and understanding of my situation and worked so well to provide all the answers I needed. Along with birthing privileges I also took yoga, breastfeeding course and a newborn care course; all included with my co-pay through insurance! The actual birth day was exactly as I had envisioned it, a blissful dream. The San Diego Midwives team provided exceptional and loving care, as if this was their child brought into the world. There was a nurse on staff with Babies in Bloom, Courtney, who remained with me until my discharge. I cannot give Courtney enough praise for having such professionalism and behind the scenes care. She sent me home with a mommy care package stocked with all postpartum needs, and Rochelle came in with a baby care package with awesome (and needed/much appreciated) sample products and coupons from the boutique!

I was bringing the most precious thing into this world and I knew that the entire team from BiB was dedicated and prepped for this task. If I could give them a 10/10 I absolutely would for the most wonderful birth experience at Babies in Bloom. There are not enough words to praise everyone involved in my birth, because of this amazing center, I was able to relax and bring my healthy baby girl into this world so...

I cannot recommend enough!!! I worked with Juliana on my breastfeeding journey - she is an amazing LC. She is passionate, relatable and so very knowledgeable. I met with Juliana multiple times and she would often check-in on me via text or phone call. Initially, she taught me the basics and importance of breastfeeding. She is very thorough. We worked on ensuring my baby had a good, strong latch and that I wasn’t experiencing pain. She helped me and my baby find multiple nursing positions that worked for us. However, my milk supply was low and this was very distressing. Juliana was extra supportive during this time and was quick to help me figure out ways to increase my supply. Most importantly, she wanted to help me figure out how to meet my goals. I have successfully nursed and pumped for 10 months and counting and I am very confident that Juliana played an important role in this success! I will absolutely seek her guidance with...
