Dollar General — Local services in Waco

This review is for the location at 300 N.The manager Jennifer is very rude. Ive seen her bellittle an employee for something she did wrong in front of a line of people. I had her speak very vulgar to me loudly bc I had just bought a phone charger went outside plugged it in and it was defective. I walked back in with receipt for an exchange since they didn't have another in stock I asked for a refund . She argued and refused said she didn't know if the charger was from her store . I was like I just went thru and u checked me out 6 min ago.so I had to find a store where i could exchange it. I've seen her drastically reduce items down for clearance buy them herself. My wife used to buy the Sunday paper for coupons bc it was sold for $1 cheaper than every other store . Two Sundays in a row the coupons were missing of course we didn't bother to argue that for a another. The following week my wife had found an add where there was a person selling bulk coupons so she went to buy sum. Although Jennifer didn't answer the door her very identifiable car was parked there. You. Can figure out that one. I witness her sntch a personal check from an elderly lady because she was being too slow. I did lose my cool over that one and begin to tell her my opinion which she told me mind my own "Biniss" there have been other incidens over the yrs that I've forgotten. Myself and others have made numerous complaints to her regional manager without any results or returned calls. Only to find out the regional manager is her best friend. The only reason I shopped there is because it was convenient. The store is a typical dollar store it's usually stocked...

I wanted to leave a review for Mrs.Cynthia Ranson. She works at the Dollar general on LaSalle in Waco Texas. The store is kind of in the middle of a very nice well to do college campus and a more lower income area. She deals with a lot of well to do college kids that have money in their entitled, and then others that are having a bad day and down in life I wanted to write and say I speak with this nice lady almost every other day and she's always very kind and uplifting. She deserves a recognition of being able to deal with all types of people from different walks of life and keep a smile on her face. The world needs more people like this she definitely deserves her recognition for what she does on a daily basis. Thank you...

This store is usually in shambles with lack luster stocking, kind of an open market feel and only 1 employee swapped at the register. If you go back a second or 3rd time you'll be lucky if you see any of the same faces still working there. Checkout times take a long time with only 1 register open and no other employee to be found. The line can get as long as 10 people waiting and take nearly 30 minutes to check out which makes a quick in and out trip very hit or miss.

At the end of the day it's a Dollar General and the expectation bar is pretty low. In comparison with other DG stores in the Waco area, this...
