Update: Abi, the store mgr personally called me to resolve this. She offered several options, and had already checked around to other stores to secure a medium jacket in case I'd like to still exchange it! She mailed it at no charge with a pre-paid return label for the small one I purchased.Thank you so much for the 5 star treatment! Original 1 star post: I really loved this store despite its being a bit pricey. Bought my mom a cute leopard jacket for $70 (!) for Christmas when in town. However, its too small and just wanted to exchange it for a medium. No mediums in stock & now that its been over 30 days, the store will not even exchange it for something else or for store credit! What I find wrong with this is that almost every other single retail store now offers a longer return policy right after Christmas (for me its been 48 days) as I bought it when I was visiting Waco. That's the other thing, Waco has become a destiny city to visit so since I live in Dallas I could not come right back right after Christmas! I'm willing to make another 1.5 hour trip to Waco, not to return this but to exchange & repurchase! I would think store front retailers would be more accommodating these days competing with cyber stores. Its unfortunate. I'm sure there are other Baylor attire stores that are more shopper friendly! It is a...
Read moreMy son got two shirts, a quarter zip and a hat for his graduation- last Friday. They were gifts. Approx value $250. We wanted to exchange three of the items. One was too big. Two were not his style. The employees told us we could not return or exchange the items without a receipt. We explained it was a gift and we didnât have the receipt. The same items were on the floor at the original price. We told them we were going to exchange the items. We werenât interested in a refund. They ultimately agreed to allow us to exchange a shirt for no cost if we got the same item in a different size. No options for the hat. For the quarter zip, they said we would have to pay more because the medium was ringing up higher than the large. They said since the UPCs were different they had to charge the difference. What!? So now we have a $150 quarter zip and a hat that my son doesnât like. The morale of the story - donât buy gifts for anyone here unless you give them the receipt. I should also note that weâve bought several items here over the 4 years when my first child went to Baylor. My son is an entering freshmen. We...
Read moreWeâve already made several purchases and my son is only a freshmen. We spent close to $700 Friday night of parents weekend. It was chaotic and long waits for the fitting rooms so we didnât try anything on. Husband didnât like a shirt we picked out. Accidentally sent the receipt with my son in his bag of stuff and of course itâs gone. Two days later tried to return for at least a store credit and they said no. They couldnât pull up our purchase either because they admitted it was so busy Friday night they didnât pull up accounts like they are supposed to. Wonât be shopping here anymore. I even looked at their website before and thought about ordering my son some things to surprise him. Since their stated return policy is that âall returns are âsubject to approvalâ I wonât be buying anything else. Looks like others have had issues based on...
