Patriot Shooting Sports — Local services in Wake Forest

I've been going here for years and have bought 6-7, hard to find, handguns and a Benelli tactical M2. I've also done 2 online transfers. It did take a day longer than you'd think to pick up the firearms from the internet, but they stay pretty busy, so i don't get too worked up.

The employees are adults; straight forward and knowledgeable. Unlike some stores nearby, the employess are not kids (what i consider kids anyway) who can't answer a question if it isn't about a Glock.

They have a surprising number of new firearms and a nice selection of used guns. You never know when you'll find a gem. Add to this an outdoor range membership ($25/mo) and you won't regret it visiting this shop. The range road was recently graded and the range is kept up. It even has a dumpster so throw away your trash 'cause your mom doesn't work there.

Ammo isn't cheap compared to buying online, but once you figure in shipping cost, it's about the same, imo, unless you are...

The guys at Patriot shooting sports are great to work with on anything from buying a fire arm to selling a fire arm or just getting to know more about the industries involved in gun related items. back when the store first opened I had gone in and talk with the owner telling him I'm left handed and I needed a holster for my 1911. I ask if he could order me one if I perpaied for it on the following Friday. He sed yes and so on Friday I went in to pay for it so he would put the order in for me and as I walked throw the door he pulled the holster out from under the counter. the man didn't know me from a hole in the wall and took the chance that I would come back and got the holster for me early. That showed me that these guys want my business long trem and not just for one sale. Have always received respectful engagement in this store. They've taken time to understand my interests, make recommendations, help me feel comfortable with selection and purchase. I've needed support a couple times from hardware modifications to a jamming issue, and the staff has always been responsive and positive with information shared and options. Recently purchasing sights for multiple pieces they took time to install and stayed late to get it all done and help me leave with with perfect results.

I've read a couple negative posts here which seem misplaced. The courtesy and professionalism at Patriot has always been outstanding, both with me and from what I've observed with other customers.
