Iām going to attempt to say this as nicely as possible. This MVA is thee worst place ever. Worst than Jail, but similar l. Whew where do I start literally. There seems to be some corruption behind the sceneās here. Why is it appointment only and not nearly all the booths are full for not half of the time your still waiting forever. People come early and have to wait 15 minutes until there appointment only to wait an additional 30 minutes past it. Also you can only come for one issue per appointment if you have a separate issueās you need separate appointments. Thereās a taller supervisor, who I believe was of African decent excuse me if Iām wrong, I didnāt catch her name but she was very rude and made me set an appointment for something she could have resolved verses trying to be cute looking down on me and disrespectfully dismissing me. She could have told me then I needed to go way back to Glen Burnie to fix there negligent mistake that remind you they just made this past July with the previous owner(youāll understand when you see the title mistake the MVA made further along).Thereās a guy Lamar there who was also very rude and not understanding.I was there to get reinstated and was scheduled for a road test. My 62 year old disabled father took literally 2 minutes to pull up his insurance card for the vehicle I was going to be driving. Lamar insisted that we step away and sit and let him move on to the next customer arguing with us saying we have only 5 minutes to sit and find it. I was so hurt and couldnāt understand why. For one everything else the (registration, And License)was just placed on the counter and he was being impatient and rude to rush us away like he was. Literally about to call security until thank God his my fathers wife quickly sent a screenshot. First of all older people deserve more respect, secondly this young man needs training on customer service. The negligence of an elderly persons time or anyone for that matter as a resident is a horrible effect on Maryland government representation. I will do my best for this all to be addressed. Mainly the service at the Maryland MVA Especially Waldorf location need immediate attention Ms. Cheryl was not more so as disrespectful, but she also wasnāt helpful at all as a manager, and that was a shame. The MVA miss printed 1,429,085miles on a Maryland tittle of a car that I purchased from a private seller. I have posted a picture to prove my point. I Got all the way to the top manager after 3 appointments of the run around because you can only deal one thing at a time. Also no appointments are available back to back so the only option is to come separate days with. This is Clearly inconvenient and inappropriate. Thatās backwards in improving the MVA service which is again worst then jail because at least there you get a free meal. The MVA only takes, takes, takes. Itās robbery and ridiculous they can at least be better at customer service. I could go on for days I wish I could get a response to my Endless emails. What will it take for justice with the MVA ? They canāt even fix there own...
Ā Ā Ā Read more-100 stars..... The older black lady with messy grey hair who works the information desk (possibly name Cheryl) is the up most ridiculously rudest human being I have ever come in contact with. I work night shift at my job so I got off of a 10 hour shift dead beat tired but knew I needed to go to MVA therefore I arrived there right after work in the morning and got there to a long line of people standing outside waiting to go in at 8:20am. No problem on waiting or lines, it's the MVA and expected. So the doors open and the line for the information booth is of course long. If you're in line and standing where the self help kiosks are to your left it will take a full hour of standing in line at minimum to actually to get to the information desk.
I stand in line for a total of 1 hour and 26 minutes then finally it's my turn. I get to the desk and the older black lady looks at you like your stupid. I tell her what I'm there for and she starts asking for documents, before I can start pulling my stuff she starts telling me I need to come back once I have everything. I'm trying to show her my change of address card that I actually received FROM the MVA and she wouldn't even look up to see what I had in my hand. She said we dont accept that and just kept saying like a robot you'll have to come back once you have everything. The way i knew she wasn't paying me attention was because she started highlighting another paper to give to me regarding documents needed of which I showed her I already had that same paper in my hand along with my documents i needed.
She would not help me nor did she care to. She was excited, happy and elated to have made a person lose sleep to stand in a line for almost an hour and a half only to be told she wouldn't do anything even as much as just look up at me to see what documents I had all in less than a minute.
She has worked there for many many years and either she needs to retire or she needs to be fired. I don't like to see people lose their jobs but I'd be happy to see her get her walking papers and wave goodbye to her with a smile. Very rude and inconsiderate. Ruined my whole day. When I walked outside there were several other people fussing and complaining about how she was with them as well. It was a group of 6 strangers with a common denominator.....HER. She screwed all those people and I'm sure a whole lot more.
So when I go back there tomorrow with the same documents I'm just going to let people go ahead of me so I can be seen by one of the other people at the counter. I can't deal with her. She wastes your time. I do not recommend you going to her and she needs to be written up, reprimanded or even better fired so that people can actually get the help they need instead if being pushed off after...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the worst experiences. Came to this location to renew my license. Before scheduling an appt made a phone call to confirm all documents needed to make this an easy trip. Was told to have BC, SSC, name change info, a copy of my Maryland state tax return & Maryland insurance. Did not need any of those documents, what was needed was two pieces of govt issued mail with my name & address or bank/cc statements. That was stressful having to find and print this information while calming a 3 month old infant. Especially after Eye had printed documents and she said āno screenshots, print it againā. Smh. The biggest issue being Eye had just recently move so my bank statements did not have my current address on it.
Eye felt discriminated against when the employee kept telling me Eye needed to remove my head covering for facial recognition or come back another time. She also told me Eye needed to remove my glasses (which are needed to drive and basically see). Eye explained to her even if Eye came back another time my head would be covered. She stated they canāt allow anyone to wear something on their head in the DL picture. Eye calmly responded my head covering can not come off because of my religion. She said oh okay, well why isnāt your head covered in your current DL picture? Smh Eye calmly replied āthat picture was taken 11 years ago, things change but why does it matterā? She then kept saying she needed to use facial recognition and asked me to pull my head covering back exposing my hairline and ears. Eye did so thinking this was needed for Face ID or something because she kept saying facial recognition. She never mentioned taking a picture or asking me was the picture okay. Eye didnt Even know she had taken a picture until we reached the end almost 2 hours later; which exposed not only my ears but my entire hairline. Eye will be reaching out to a supervisor because there is no reason why my head covering should have been removed or why my hair needed to be exposed. On to of her asking me why my head was not covered in my old...
