This is an indoor playground with a mixture of hard structures and inflatables. It is located in an industrial park near the MVA but is easy to find when balloons are tied to the relevant street signs or if you have a GPS unit. They have open play as well as host birthday parties. Our grade schoolers love the open play during the winter when they want to let off steam - the ketchup- & mustard-colored slides are super fast, thrilling and - hands down literally - their favorite pieces. Kids also enjoy the video/arcade games, which accept coins or credit cards and are operated by a vendor, not the facility (see disclaimers posted on the machines).
We have also had 2 birthday parties there. Julia, Mike and their staff improve their service each year and make birthday parties so easy and stress-free. Julia is accessible and constantly in contact regarding booking and dealing with guests w/ allergies. Mike is detail-oriented and a good issue spotter on the day of the event. (A random thought occurred to me in remembering one of Mike's comments - Kidz Bop music would be perfect for the birthday program - corporate needs to work on making that happen.) The hostesses in the party room lead a cute birthday program and will work with you if you forget anything.
I highly recommend this party place if you have...
Read moreWe attended a party here recently and wouldn't care to repeat the experience. The staff certainly are, for the most part, friendly and accommodating. The facility itself is clearly run down and in need of some TLC, but that can be overlooked. The main issue is the safety of the equipment and lack of supervision. There are two long plastic slides. These are incredibly slippery and, as a result, very fast. I went down this slide and flew off the end, landing heavily - in a sitting position - on a foam mat that has been landed on so many times it is almost flat. At the time I thought I had done nothing more serious than jar myself, but ten days later I am waiting to see an orthopedic doctor and expecting to have an xray to see if my tailbone is fractured. This piece of equipment was NOT SUPERVISED by any member of staff at the time. While we were at the party we saw several small children also come down the slide and hurt themselves on landing. One little girls mother rushed to pick her up and comfort her while the staff person 'supervising' at the time stood by awkwardly and didn't so much as ask if the child was okay. Appalling place - should be avoided...
Read moreMy granddaughter had her birthday party there. Staff was friendly and the kids had a ball, however, some of the clientele were rude, crude, and impolite. With that type of clientele (both adults and children), you need more policing on the floor. There were older kids in the toddler room, and in addition, one of our guest had two big boys jump on him to take a ball away from him while he was trying to shoot a basket. There are signs everywhere that children should be accompanied by an adult, however, children were left to their own devices with no adult guidance. I suggest that this place add more staff to ask older kids to come out of the toddler room and to ask big kids not to jump on a smaller kid to take a ball. If they do not comply, they should be removed. Sorry to say we will not return. Clientele is just as important...
