My wife took our toy poodle to Clean Dog Healthy Dog in September of last year, and he came back with a cut bad enough that we took him to the vet. You can read her review and the response from the owner on Yelp (Jill S.), but the treatment she received was so bad that I wanted to post my own review.
We called to try to speak to the owner to complain, after three days got a call back with a half-hearted apology and offer to pay the vet bill, and then absolute silence when we sent a copy of the bill.
Months later, the owner replied to her Yelp review: "I would have happily covered her vet bill if she was a reasonable human being. She has blown the whole situation out of proportion, and instead of contacting us to discuss the matter, she decided to go straight to yelp and leave a nasty review. I called her before reading the review, apologized and was about to send her a check. Then I went on yelp and saw her review. If you had come to me before leaving a nasty review, I would have happily wrote you a check. Now, you're basically slandering us online, and you want me to send you money? Really?"
I'm absolutely stunned that this is how the owner of this business would behave. Insulting your customers and calling them liars?

Read moreI’ve been taking my schnoodle to Hound Lounge for years, and I have always been happy with how they groom him. I like how they keep a file of him on their computer with details on who groomed him last and what kind of cut he had. They listen openly to my suggestions if I want something different. They communicate well with you if your appointment needs to be changed for some reason. They text/call when your fur baby is ready to be picked up. The last time I was there was on a Saturday and I didn’t realize that they had different closing hours from the rest of the week. When they texted me an hour later that my dog was ready to be picked up, I called them back and I told them I was 45 minutes away running an errand and had no idea that they closed at 4:00. I told them that my dog is always there for at least 2 hours and I couldn't get there for another 45 minutes. They were very understanding and accommodating. Too expensive.Very Poor Quality of Service. Brought my clean dog in on a leash separate from his crate. My Sweet terrier came home flea infested with a hole in his nose.
