Depot Liquors — Local services in Wareham

We were in town visiting the week of September 5th (like I do every year). We were looking for a bottle of Hennessey, it was a Sunday night and it was 9:45 p.m. in the evening so we googled to see what liquor stores were open. This one came up and It was pretty close to where we were, we only had approximately 15 minutes to get there. We got there and plenty of time. Went in to make a purchase and when the gentleman told us the price we commented to him, Wow! That was pretty pricey and that it wasn't that expensive at the other liquor store that we had purchased from a couple days before and also commented that it wasn't even that expensive in Pittsburgh (Not to say that we weren't going to purchase it) but his sarcastic response to us was....."Well the other one probably isn't open and maybe you should get it in Pittsburgh". I found his response to be extremely disrespectful, So without hesitation, We left!!! I too am a business owner (I sell cigars) and my prices have a tendency to be a little more expensive than most. But as a business owner I am not disrespectful to my customers. I just explain to them why my prices are more (I to stay open longer than most shops). From one business owner to another, just a little word of advice that's not how you treat your customers. Whether they're in town for a day or they are a permanent resident. You see I may live in Pittsburgh, but I'm not from Pittsburgh. I was actually born and raised there and for the record there was another liquor store opened and we made it in plenty of time So if you're looking for a late night liquor store with better pricing, the name and address is BROWNE'S PACKAGE STORE-189 MARION RD and the liquor store that we purchased from a couple days before where the customer service was phenomenal, the name and address is, LIQUOR...

great owner very nice guy.However ,he needs to update his hours. The past two weeks close time states 11 pm went at 10:45 door locked young girl behind counter and elder man at counter waving hand to me across his throat.(assuming meaning they're closed). Then went on friday and a saturday recently online states open until 11pm.Got there 10:30 and same thing closed with companions inside with young girls.Never had a problem with establishment at all GREAT SERVICE all friendly but he needs to update his hours. even recently went in 9:30 on a sunday and locked.I do not get it.that was suppose to close 10 sometimes 11 I dont get why he can update sunday hours weekly but can not put actual true hours HUGE Inconveinence.Owner already replied GREAT GUY.he updated hours I realize the people who are workjing have alot to do.I appreciate your prompt response.Meant no disrespect Thank you for all you do in town to help the less fortunate...

Im new in town and exploring the stores to see where I want to do business. I went there two times and both was an unpleasant experience. A darker hair women waited on me both times, didn't greet me, never looked up from the counter, has "0" personality and never said thank you. Definetely will not give that store...
