Joe's Train Station — Local services in Warminster Township

Recently purchased a used train set from them. The price itself was decent but the quality of the train wasn't. I went there to purchase an old train set that my father had as a kid growing up to put under the Christmas tree for my children. Bill was kind and very knowledgeable about the products. The train I purchased worked for about a day then it stopped working. I asked the owner Doug about the sale and refunds they had on the purchases but they do not have anything set in stone. So.. come to find out that they DO NOT ACCEPT REFUNDS. The owner was very arogenate and rude and very hesitant to give me a refund even if the train was broken a day after purchase. It ruined Christmas and New years for the children. Doug Insisted that it was a transportation defect although after the purchase the train worked for a day. Into further inspection Doug told me that the train would have to be sent out for repair. The train was purchased with a free small bottle of oil that was given to me for free as a holiday gift. The owner did refund the train and did take away the gift bottle of oil that was given for FREE, saying that they had to spend time looking at the train that was sold broken in the first place. I even kindly offered to add money on top to purchase another train they had on display, but when Bill put the train that I had in mind to purchase on the track to see if that train worked...The train made this loud obnoxious noise as if it was never checked and broken in the first place! The owner quickly dismissed the fact that it was broken and insisted that even BRAND NEW trains out the box could be broken as well… I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. Just crooks ripping people off with broken used trains legally. Very poor ownership. I would have expected better from an owner, To treat costumers with a bit of respect. I went in search of H.O. scale plastic models ( mostly of commercial bldgs,& businesses) I prefer to build the models from scratch and I found a few spectacular deals+ I found a few kits unboxed that were discounted. I also like to change up the designs of the kits combining 2,3 or 4 kits into my own creations - for instance taking a 2 story hardware store+ a factory+ a 3 story apt. Complex & creating a skyscraper or a sports complex -- I met Dwayne & he was v, helpful - The store had everything a model train enthusiast would ever need -- there will be a few more trips down to purchase the items that I didn't get today -- I just wish they had more in the way of slot car /semi trucks but I understand they're focusing on trains anyway it was worth the long trip to support hobby shops like this +...

I am a regular customer here. I have a huge collection of locomotives and rolling stock that constantly needs repair. I honestly didn't think the Dwayne would be able to do it, but he was able to replace a part on a Broadway Limited Imports locomotive I had that was discontinued by Broadway Limited Imports way back in 2007. I was also able to get expansion track for my Lionel Polar Express Train Set, which, if you don't already have it, I strongly recommend you purchase it (they sell it here), and for any princesses or princess fans out there, yes, they do also have the Lionel Frozen Train Set.
