Public Storage — Local services in Warminster Township

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I was in a real bind needing a last minute storage locker on a holiday weekend. Other storage facilities in the area were not open due to the holiday (understandable), or did not have the right size storage I need that was indoor and handicapped accessible. Public Storage in Hatboro to the rescue! Exact size I needed, reasonable price for the size, convenient to where I live, easy to find and access.

Went in today to sign the contract (it was emailed to me in advance, but I had some questions first). Justin could not have been more helpful, friendly, humorous and understanding regarding my immediate need for storage! Great communication! He contacted me within 15 minutes of my reserving a space via their website. He took the time to make sure I was renting the right size space for my needs, my locker was ground floor totally accessible to the parking area with no steps/elevator/curb, and a huge dolley is available for use right in the entryway. Justin took his time with me answering my concerns, explained the contract and options for everything for payment to optional insurance. He then took the time to walk me to where my locker is located and spent all the time necessary to ensure I knew how to use the lock and key (it can be a bit tricky, and I am notoriously horrible with locks anywhere). He made sure I tested it myself to make sure I knew what I was doing.

I felt such a sense of relief to get a locker with Public Storage under the unfortunate circumstances I found myself in on such short notice, and grateful to Justin...

Opened a storage unit online late Friday night online and received an email that the unit was ready. Went there with my 8 year old daughter and lock was on the unit. Tried the office and was locked as well. Drove around the units for 1/2 hour looking for someone. Finally drove up to the gate to get out and the gate would not open. I had to get out of the car go through a gate to the other side and type in my code and run back to the car. I was very concerned being on the other side of the gate with the the office locked during open hours and no one to be found. Called that day to the storage unit to get clarification with at least 2 hours left before closing no answer and left a message, called again the next day multiple times during open hours in the morning with no answer and again left messages, then called customer service and asked to be called within an hour by someone who could help me as I was wasting the weekend. They attempted to contact the office as well as the "regional manager" and left messages for both. After 2 hours I called customer service again and asked for a refund because at this point I did not feel comfortable using them at all. They said I would get a full refund. After that about 30 min later a "regional manager" called me and attempted to blame me for all the issues and poor customer service. I politely said I just want a refund he agreed and I got off the phone. Today is 5 days later and I see I was only refunded half. I called customer service to be informed by them that they are keeping the "admin" fee as well as any days I...

Drove all the way from Doylestown to get items out of my unit as I have been moving. Got to PS around 430pm on July 4. There was a customer there that told me the gates won't open. He showed me that his number worked, but the gate never lifted. I tried my number and same thing and other customers had the same problem and left. I went to the main office door, locked. Yet the silver door to the right was open because the lock didn't go down so ANYONE could walk in there and steal from those first floor units inside, since it was outside the locked gate.

Even if it is a holiday, the gate should still be able to open. I was hoping today to share my experience from being here for 2 months. Including the 2nd elevator in the far building is never operating even on a weekend with a lot of people. I am also in a climate controlled unit and the last time I was there it was so hot I started sweating before I even lifted anything in my unit!
