Lousy. What a nightmare!!
I NEVER bash a business because I work in customer service. But this is absolutely necessary. This was the WORST business/consumer relation I ever experienced. Here's why: I took my car in because I was getting a constant ticking from my center channel speaker in my rear deck. (Which was being driven my a monoblock amp.) They returned it to me no longer connected to that particular amp, for some crazy reason they bridged it to the amp that is driving my door speakers!! If that's not bad enough, I had NO volume at all! I assumed that they turned the gains down so I checked and to my surprise, they were cranked up?!! And STILL no volume!! Even the supervisor agreed that it made no sense at all. (Not to mention I was also getting clipping from my subwoofer.) So, they fixed that... Only to return it with ANOTHER issue! Now I was getting a constant ticking and distortion from my front right tweeter. It was a low hiss with a 'tic, tic, tic' every second. So they SAID they fixed it... Welp, guess what? They didn't. Now it was in BOTH tweeters! The technician told me that "there's always going to be slight feedback". That is so far from the truth it's ridiculous. There should be no white noise or distortion at all!
Not only is their work shoddy, but their communication is horrible! EVERY time I brought my car there it was there for longer than a week and I got no status update. I had to call them to ask if it was done. BOTH times they said "oh yeah, it's done. Someone should have called you." That's unacceptable.
Needless to say, I would not recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and avoid h&r if you're planning on having any work done besides a remote start or maybe a new head unit install. These guys don't know what they're doing when it comes to more involved applications. This was the most aggravating experience I've ever had...
Read moreOriginally it was a positive experience with false promises of them fixing the issue after saying that they would fit me in their "really busy" schedule lol (the parking lot was empty ) so the first day they had it .... it seemed like they forgot about it as I listened to the dynamic father /son relationship started to deteriorate all within ear shot .... as I listened to them scream and cuss at each other i became worried but told them I needed to pick it up so I could pick my sons up from school. Again the next day of this complete and utter ball drop... they assured me I'd have music back in my truck by the end of the day. .. that was a lie .... he didn't pull it in the shop until way late so it seems as if he rushed it but again I had to have faith .... little word to the wise bring physical cash with you if you stupidly go here to get their half-assed repairs ..... needless to say he charged me 250 bucks for the radio to still not work and him to tell me that my brand new head unit was broken (which it was not) .... i had to WALK in the pouring rain to try and find a atm all the while they sat in the dry waiting room with not one offer to give me a ride to an ATM ... it made me furious so much so that I will tell everyone about the situation so they will be able to avoid the hacks that work in their shop.... i repeat , YOU ARE NOT SMART IF YOU TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. If anyone knows a better audio shop let me know because I have to pay some one else to fix what they never or couldn't fix .......
Read moreHorrible experience since I walked into the door. I HIGHLY advise you do not use H&R for any Installations or repairs of any kind. When I first walked in to drop my car off it took 10 mins for someone to even walk up to the desk. After the rude lady came up she took my number and said we'll get back to you. I did not recive a call all day. I called right before they closed to get an update of what was going on. The test they did took 5 mins and it was something they could not fix anyway. If not calling the customer and being very rude wasent enough, they did over $2,000 in damage to my car. Steve the manager and the whole staff there are extremely dishonest and I do not believe anyone in the shop knows what they are doing. They poped my tire and tore my fender apart on my car. They had no explanation of how this happened and refused to do anything about it. I can't believe how you run a business with such rude staff and unknowable "technicians" the warminster cops, my lawyer, my insurance and everyone who I told this too can not believe this story. So do your self a favor. Go to Best Buy, world wide audio, pepboys anywhere else to get your vehical serviced. They will not only be cheaper, but you will at least be dealing with HONEST, knowledgeable, caring people who know how to...
