I took my phone to get fixed there was told it would be an hour next the guy didnāt ask for any information or anything I assumed he was gonna stay in the kiosk and start on so I went and sat at a bench across from the little stand a few minutes later he comes up to me saying he had to go to his car and then heād be back but no he didnāt tell me that he was leaving to go to his errands and leave m at the mall wondering did this dude just steal my phone. So I started to panic and about 2 hours later h comes back with my phone fixed I was finally relieved that he was back but he didnāt let me know he was back But to make a long story short I went paid the man went home inspected my phone and found a crack on the bottom of my screen next to the home button. Asked if I could pick it up the next day, one of the guys told me 1:30. Cool. Get there 1:30 waited about 30 mins after STILL one there. Came Back at 3pm to pick up. Brought it up to the guy, of course he lied and said that he was there. Anyways, when I first pressed the button it felt a little weird but I didnāt think anything of it. Also the screen is really cheap. Later that night, realized my baby button is halfway off the iPad. His dad took it the next day, they fixed it but now the finger print doesnāt work š”š now all of sudden they canāt do anything about it. Fast forward to Friday 11/22/2024 when I attempted to change my prepay account from straight talk to post pay with Verizon. Only to find out this phone is NOT paid off. It still has a balance with AT&T and Iāve NEVER had an account with AT&T. Friday afternoon and Saturday was spent on the phone and in the store with Verizon. No success. Sunday morning with Apple phone support no success. Sunday afternoon Best Buy Apple support sees the hold is AT&T from the original purchase. What a nightmare this has been. Why would he not pay off the inventory March 2022 when k paid in full ? I canāt even pay of off at AT&T without his information. 𤪠good luck...
