⚜️ORDERING⚜️
🔹️You have to call to place an order 🔹️We ordered: *Chicken Biryani $15.59 *Butter Chicken $15.59 *Butter Naan $2.60 *Garlic Naan $3.12 🔹️Arrived at the time given, but had to wait as the orders were not ready, so we looked around and purchased $17.12 of Spices & Herbs♥️
⚜️THE STORE⚜️
🔹️It is like a small gambling store 🔹️You can purchase Indian spices/items as well as American items, and various gas station like smoke shop items, and there are gambling machines
⚜️CUSTOMER SERVICE⚜️
🔹️Alex is extremely kind, very welcoming; 🔹️We kindly recommend that Alex adopt a less assertive approach when suggesting products within the store, ensuring a more comfortable shopping experience for customers 🔹️Additionally, we suggest asking for feedback or reviews only ONCE, rather than multiple times, to avoid overwhelming your customers
⚜️FIRST & FOREMOST⚜️
🔹️This was our very 1st Indian food experience so we were SUPER excited to finally try it 🔹️Alex asked us 4 times to leave a Review and we said we definitely would 🔹️After we tried the food, I debated on if I should actually publicly share our take on the food, yet decided to because after all, it is OUR personal point of view
⚜️THE FOOD⚜️
🔹️I used a box of Macaroni (which most are familiar with the size) to show the size of the dishes as they were smaller than we expected See Pics 🔹️The chicken was not tender at all 🔹️Both dishes were bland (We had to add seasoning to eat it) 🔹️We were prepared to be wowed by the Indian spiciness we have always heard people brag about---But sadly there was none 😫 In fact we only liked the Naan and the Yogurt concoction ♥️
⚜️CONCLUSION⚜️
🔹️This review reflects OUR personal perspective and is not intended to discourage anyone from experiencing this establishment for themselves. We would like to emphasize that Alex was exceptionally polite and pleasant, and we encourage others to form their own opinions. However, it simply is not the...
Read moreHole in the wall place, a tiny grocery store with one table to sit at. I read a review that said it was good and I have to say it was better than good, absolutely delicious!! Alex the owner was super nice and he let me know they stay open until 11pm for people working late. Note - I drive by it daily and I didn't know it was open this late because it's poorly lit outside, but definitely will be hitting them up after a late shift at work.
We ordered Butter Chicken and Buhna Murgh Masala (mild) and it was spot on! Came with rice and naan, the rice was perfect, the naan a little over cooked if you want to eat it traditional style, just fine for how Americans eat it.
The Bunha was three chicken legs and sauce (gravy), perfect meal for one. The butter chicken was white chicken chunks, too many good size pieces to count! Lots of gravy and it was enough to split with a friend if you have a decent appetite, though I manage to eat it all (ate too much but so worth it!)
I look forward to going again and again, so many dishes to try and they cook home style, not restaurant style. If you know Indian food you know this is the way to truly enjoy it.
They do offer wings and fries, as well as pizza. I plan to try these based on this first amazing experience.
Please check them out and support this new business, you'll be...
Read moreThis is such a cute “hole on the wall” spot as they say as a half Indian market with a kitchen in the back. They have two tables up front to dine in. I took one bite of the butter Naan and it was seriously the best I’ve ever had, the garlic Naan was even better (so fluffy, flavorful and soft). The butter chicken was so incredibly flavorful I did a happy dance as I ate it (love that you can choose your own spice level and it’s plenty chicken and sauce). I’m not kidding that sauce on the butter chicken is so good, you could drink it lol. The customer service was great, I was greeted with a warm smile as soon as I walked in. I will most certainly be back to make my way through the menu and tell all my friends and colleagues...
