Bonanza Lanes — Local services in Warren

I called to inquire what their open bowling hours were and I was told after 8:30 on Saturday’s. We showed up with two children and leagues were still playing, which we thought they’d be finishing up, however, the desk clerk told us it won’t be u til 9:30. Meanwhile, six of us are uncomfortably hanging around the very small gaming area and encroaching on the league player’s space.

We asked if we could sit in the bar area, where there are open tables and we wouldn’t be in the way of the league. We were told yes by an employee, so we settled at a table. We then went up to the bar to order drinks and asked again if we were okay with kids in the area and , the woman bartender rudely told us we were not allowed in the bar area with children. Her curt behavior was uncalled for, considering we were conscious of asking and we were trying to be considerate of the rules. So, back to the crowded area where we are waiting over an hour for open bowl to begin.

The place needs new carpeting. Drinks are high priced for a bowling alley. I’ve been here 20 minutes and I’m not...

1.) 1st and last time coming. You all take CASH ONLY sounds like a mean case of tax evasion. That is the most unprofessional trait of a business saying cash only when i had to pay a fee at your atm!

2. we ordered an extra onion ring order and you all played like we only ordered 1 instead of 2 . It took forever to get our food. You all had NO NAPKINS (ARE YOU KIDDING ME). Then you all day NO REFUNDS VERBALLY! I know contract law and the word NO REFUNDS must be CONSPICUOUS, don’t wait until after we complain about no refunds.

3. i domt understand why the tables are MOUNTED DOWN BLOCKING THE COMPUTER SO WE HAD TO STAND TO PUR IN OUR NAMES. YOU ALL SHOULD HAVE MAPPED OUT THAT IDEA BEFORE DOING THIS WHICH IS VERY INCONVENIENT.

Absolutely cannot stand this place! Got here at 6:30pm on a Saturday, and there was no music being played. The bar was closed & the food took way too long. Any other bowling alley I've been to has not been like this. I don't understand where all the good reviews are coming from. This place used to be good a few years ago but recently it's changed dramatically. I came here because another alley was closed at the time & the only reason I gave it two stars was because the price was cheap.
