Von Thai — Restaurant in Warren

As I consider myself a Thai food aficionado, that's tried too many restaurants to name, since the early 90's, my family's familiar craving for Thai kicked in this Sunday and we spun the wheel, giving Von Thai of Warren a 1st try. They accommodated my teenagers request of spice levels and extra veggies/ egg perfectly . The pad see lew noodle dish was very flavorful, the Kow Pad rice had the right texture of firmness (mushy rice is never kool) and my hot level non-meat Pad Pak dish, delivered with fresh taste, and didn't skimp on the veggies as some places give you a pinch of vegetables, mostly sauce--- not Von Thai ! Overall pleasing to make this establishment a regular spot, of the several Thai restaurants we enjoy, several times a month. My conversation with the owners of this location was also smooth. I ordered beef and vegetables. It didn't look nothing like the picture. It had a few drops of steak in it. The steak was tough and I couldn't chew it. I wanted it mild hot. It wasn't. It was saltee. It had more vegetables than any thing. It was not Thai food. I was on my lunch at the time. I pulled up Thai food on Google. Why was it on there. That was disgusting and the cabbage covered most of the plate. I'll never go there again. That was my first and last time. I paid almost $13.00 for it. Just sad and disappointed. This place is a ripoff and should be avoided. Went here a couple times in the past and the people were friendly and accommodating. Just went in there recently to order lunch, planned on sitting in there and eating my food like I did in the past only this time the woman behind the counter would not give me a cup of water with some lame excuse about how they're not a sit-down restaurant. I was given a bottle of water in the past and now after being charged nearly $14 an hour for a ridiculously small lunch portion, I have to pay for a bottle of water on top of it.
