DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!

I called on Saturday 8/26 about their "3 Day Meat Sale" and was told they had everything in stock and asked about the sale hours of 10-6 and was told they were cutting meat til 6pm but the sale would be good even after. I asked about their sale items (specifically the Whole Tenderloins and Chicken) and was told they had everything out and could cut by order.

I arrived 15 minutes later at 4:45pm and was told by the deli clerk when I rang the bell that the Meat Dept was no longer there as they left for the day.

I went to the front Service Counter and spoke to the Manager who I spoke to on the phone and he denied telling me any of the above and said he told me on the phone that they were out of the Whole Tenderloins and he never said they were cutting til 6pm.

He proceeded to again rudely tell me I was wrong and he said on the phone he told me they were out of the Whole Tenderloins. Why would I come in if he told me that?

He proceeded to raise his voice and yell in front of other customers and tell me I was lying and I left the store and told him I would never be back.

There are 3 other Supermarkets in Lititz to go to.

Bottom line is I went to Giant in Lititz and purchased a Whole Tenderloin that they cut for me which was the same price per pound and bought my chicken as well at Giant for 2 Cents per pound more.

I enjoy posting great reviews for businesses but today I was shocked at my experience. Earlier this morning I went to buy a container of egg whites and accidentally grabbed the wrong kind. I came back an hour later to do an exchange. The lady at the register is someone I always enjoy having! I wish I remembered her name but she is short with long beautiful silver hair and wears bright red lipstick! She told me a manager had to do the return so she called for one to come help out. Whoever was the manager on duty this morning around 11:30am on Jan. 25th was very rude. When she came up, she made a scoffed sound and looked very annoyed. She spoke disrespectfully to her Team member and was rude to me. I’m writing this because as a manager myself, it hurt to see how she treated her team member. I’m hoping that whoever is in charge of taking care of these reviews, asks that manager to apologize to the very kind team member who helped me today. What used to be an awesome store, is now severely lacking. The parking lot has some serious holes in it, broken down cars and some employees park up front where the patrons park.

They used to have the best meats hands down, now they barely have anything and if they do it’s expired.

The man in the deli, needs to be trained on food safety. Watched him numerous times cross contaminate and itch parts of his body without changing gloves.

The employees now don’t seem to care, rarely ask if you need help, let alone take their eyes off the cellphones. My favorite was the bra-less large woman storming down the isle while her cell phone played music at an insane volume.

This place needs to get back to its roots, used to be an awesome store, and I’m hoping one day it will return. I do not want to patronize box...
