It's been a year since I joined the electrical tech program, and in hindsight, it might not have been the best choice. The program seems to be facing several challenges, including understaffing and an unprepared instructor. The female teacher, who is often hung over during morning classes, struggles with punctuality, organization, and conveying basic concepts effectively. On top of the issues there is ONLY 1 day dedicated to hands-on work. 1! However, the equipment provided, such as old wooden boards with numerous drill holes, may not be up to industry standards. This lack of quality resources might hinder your learning experience. Moreover, the program seems to be struggling to attract students, leaving you with limited opportunities for social interaction and collaboration. If you enjoy doing projects alone or with an awkward 40 year old guy than be my guest… However, it's worth mentioning that the institution offers alternative programs like marine or welding, which seem to have a better reputation and more active student engagement. In conclusion, while the electrical program may not have met your expectations, it's essential to explore other options within the same institution, such as marine or welding programs, which could potentially offer a more fulfilling and rewarding...
Read moreIncredibly expensive. $48k for an associates degree. With my loan interest it's been around $60k. The vet science program with a degree and license lands you a job for about $23 an hour maxed out. In the field I find out they'll hire anyone off the street and train them in the job. For around the same pay as someone with a degree. No one told me that you can sit for your board exam without going to school. There's no room to grow or advance unless going to vet school to be a doctor for 400k. I wasted 2 years of my life to one of the most embarrassing unprofessional industries I've ever seen. It's unregulated, unhinged and embarrassing. I highly advise everyone to avoid being taken advantage by this school and the vet industry. I have to go back to school to get a real job now. It's sad to see NEIT taking advantage of students with that tuition. ALSO all the credits you take here are NON-TRANSFERABLE. They make their classes specific to their school so you don't want to start all over again. I had to retake every single general education class at a different college after...
Read moreI am a nursing grad from LTI. I called and spoke with two advisors who were both ignorant and rude as can be, gave no additional information or alternatives as far as their bridge program, which I’m sure I qualified for at the time. I then asked how many credits they would accept from LTI since it was considered their sister school. They said in the future LTI would not be considered their sister school. I responded well we’re not in the future we are in the present. They stated I would have to take the entire nursing program over and pay full price. I’m a licensed nurse currently working in the field. It’s beyond inappropriate that I would start with brand new nursing students who have not taken any nursing classes nor have any hours or experience in the field. This school is scam and...
