Disappointed with the experience. Everything was going well until the end. My family and I were trying to kill some time and saw they have a big advertisement on the fence for 2 1-topping pizzas and a 1 litre Coke for $23.99. We weren't planning on going out to spend a bunch of money but thought hey, we can swing that. We ordered the first pizza with no toppings and the second pizza with half (just) pineapple, half buffalo. When the bill came, the two pizzas together came to about $37 alone. My husband told bartender/waitress and she tried talking to the owner/manager but he refused to honor the deal because "buffalo is gourmet because of the sauce". Gourmet buffalo sauce? Even though the pizza was only half buffalo and the other pizza had 0 toppings, not even 1. And we hadn't even asked for the 1 litre Coke. On the bill, the difference between a 0 topping pizza and a "specialty" pizza was only $4, so if anything - they could have at least honored the deal and added a few dollars for half the topping of one of the pizzas being buffalo chicken. He apparently said to "read the fine print" although there was no fine print on the sign advertising it. Anyway, the bartender/waitress was nice and took $5 off our drinks, which we appreciated...the owner just seems greedy/sheisty. I personally wouldn't have handled the situation like this if it were my business. But it seems like nowadays squeezing every dollar matters more than a returning customer. I guess it was worth a bad review and bad first experience for the customer though. So again, make sure you specifically inquire about this "fine print" before ordering if you...
Read moreMy first genuinely awful experience with a restaurant in my 24 years of life I've ever experienced. At about 11:40 I call vittos for a pickup order, I order a medium chicken bacon ranch calzone. They tell me 15 minutes. I get there at 11:58 nearly 20 minutes after I had placed the order give or take. I get the calzone and drive all the way home I open up the box and it looks like it's fully cooked on the outside but I take one bite and a string of raw dough comes with it. I call and ask if I could get a refund and my order remade and they told me to bring the old one back and to pick up the new one. I get back and I'm greeted by the owner a gordito Italian guy who said that he was supposedly going to make the order himself but when I asked for my refund also he started getting very aggressive and out of pocket and outright refused my refund if I got the remake which most likely would be raw also being it was almost the end of the night and he told me it would take less time than the old calzone. He also asked me what I was waiting around for when I was waiting to get my money back from the woman at the register, as they were talking about me in a vulgar manner in their...
Read moreThere is someone at Vittos who knows how to make a Falafel Sandwich correctly and then there is someone there who does not and mangles the Sandwich to the point the bread is ripped and you have to eat it with a fork. For how much the Sandwich costs especially with certain toppings on there the person with the Man Hands shouldn't destroy the Sandwich. Otherwise the 1st Sandwich was amazingly good, Hummus and the white sauce Delicious! Hummus especially.. I was very impressed and was going to put it up there with getting Falafels on the East Side of Providence and Cranston, but the Person with the man hands borderline might ruin it. ( I know pita bread isn't easy, but the people should be trained on how to make it correctly) ..Hopefully my 3rd time I will get the 1st person who made it correctly. I will revise my review after I go...
