I saw a car I wanted to buy on their site. The car was beautiful. It was clean, the engine was clean and I decided to buy it. They don’t do any kind of financing so I left a $2000 deposit and financed on my own. The first problem happened when they sent the title to my bank. The title was not in their company’s name. In order for the bank to finance they would have to switch the title into their name. We were told it would take three days it ended up being more like a week . Once the bank cut the check we took it over along with a letter from the bank, saying they had to send the title to the bank within 10 days. Well 10 days later, the bank had received nothing. At the 12 day mark the bank called them, and the bank was told oh it’s going out tomorrow next week at the latest. Nothing. I had to call and ask her overnight it because we were getting close to the temp tags running out. When The bank finally had the title, and I took it to motor vehicles to register it, they had forgotten to put the tax stamp on it. The person I was dealing with at motor vehicles told me to take it back to them get the tax stamp on it, and if they gave me any trouble, there is an inspector assigned to that motor vehicle office and I should come back and let them know. The man at motor vehicles also told me exactly what they had to fill out and to make sure that they had signed it. So I drove down there once again, and have them put the tax stamp on. It’s a little bit of a drive for me because I don’t live around the corner from them. This time the reception I got when I walked in, was not nearly as happy and friendly, as when I first walked in there, or as it was on the day, I handed them the check. But, it got done, and I got this car registered with only a few days to spare before the tags ran out. They also said that the car never came with the key fob, just a key. So we went to the Ford dealer and they programmed a key fob for us. I’ve bought several cars in my life and never had an experience like this. Oh, by the way, they charge you a fee for documents, but they don’t do any of the documents. You have to do them yourself. So, here is in a nutshell, the title, with the wrong name on it, the constantly saying that things have been done when they were really never done and would not have gotten done unless we applied pressure, the failure to fill out a title correctly when making a sale, and I just discovered no inspection sticker on the vehicle. This would have been so easy to do everything right. I can’t wrap my head around the untruths that were told to me and the stonewalling. Make sure you go out on the web and read some other reviews. Buyer beware
So sorry that you felt had you had to answer in this way. The fact is that your people drop the ball. New Jersey motor vehicle was so upset with the way you handled things that they told me that when I came back for the tax stamp, if you give me any trouble, to come right back to them because they have a state inspector right in the office. And that came from motor vehicle, and not from me. As far as disrespectful and belligerent, that’s an outright lie on your part. In addition, the loan officer at my bank, had to call you and pressure you to send the title. I have a whole string of text messages That have it in black-and-white how many times you were contacted and asked very politely to provide the title. And when you were pressured into providing the title, you didn’t provide the correct way.. yes, I was happy when I first came into your dealership. My first and second visits there were very pleasant. It was only when you didn’t do what you were supposed to do in the timeframe that you were supposed to do it in that shifted, it would have been so easy to do it, right from the get-go . We were looking forward to working with you in the future and being repeat customers. I’m sorry it...

For it being day after Christmas everyone was motivated and had a good vibe. So now onto the reason I will only leave 2 stars is because of the vehicle. I did every check I knew how to do on a vehicle as I would before purchasing a used vehicle especially for that price I paid. I was okay with some issues as well it’s over a 20 year old truck. In the description for the truck it was running and good 100% I saw no problems leaked or anything when I did my checks along with the test drive. I lived about 3 hours away from the dealership so I purchased and drove it home. I drove the truck all said and done 120 miles to come out to a puddle where I had it parked. This puddle needed up being a massive power steering leak from the reservoir of the power steering pump and steering gear box. I had taken it to get registered fixed along with inspected in pa. While it was in the shop I opted to buy a fass fuel system because from my knowledge and research on these trucks the stock fuel pumps are garbage. I ran the truck about a month putting less than 300 miles on it in that month for the truck to not start one day after being in the shop as for weeks. The times is about February 6th at this time I had to have it towed into a shop for the truck to have massive amount of water in the fuel and the fass fuel system water filter was clogged not allowing 18psi of fuel. It was drained replaced etc the running idea was bad diesel to come and have to take it into the shop again for the same issue to find out there was more problems with water in the fuel. This time the tank was fully drained and cleaned and then was thought maybe it’s from the truck sitting so much at wherever before I owned it that’s caused this issue. Now I have put about 2500 miles on the truck since I bought it at 115k and had it towed a 2nd time due to vp44 (fuel injection pump) now failing. From what was found is it failed due to water in the fuel before the fass fuel system was put on causing it to receive damage . For the truck running and driving 100% according to their listing with it having this many issues in a about 6 months time and 3000 miles makes me wonder if they knew about these issues. There’s is no way to tell and no blame to be pointed on them as I bought this vehicle as is, but watch yourself as I’ve heard they are knowed for selling these older vehicles with known issues for high prices from other people...

Explained that I was flying out from the Midwest and wanted to make sure it was road worthy to drive back. Also discussed cosmetic condition, they said it had a few 'minor' flaws in the paint that would most likely be able to buff out. Got money together and flew out to pick up the truck. Arrived at King of Cars and Trucks to look it over, this is what we found: They just charged the AC right before we arrived, most likely to keep it cold long enough to get it out the door but it didn't work and was blowing hot air. Also dripped water on the floorboard. The two center vents were disconnected and not working. Drivers side door could not be opened from the inside, needed to reach outside to open. They said it just needed a little adjustment. Passenger side door wouldn't latch either, it must need adjustment too. Hole in the cab corner on passenger side where it had been repaired with Bondo. Running boards were very rough. Lifters tapped loud enough to cause much concern, they said it was indicative of the 5.3 l but my 5.3 doesnt make a sound. Brake lights and turn signals would not work at all. Had a hard time getting the transmission back into park upon return from test drive. 3 of the 4 headlights were lit on low beam, 4th light, ??? Who knows. Crack in paint across the width of the hood along with multiple cracks and chips in the front grill area. Paint on passenger side had what looked like over spray or something spilled on it, lots of damage for a truck that was a 'must see. I left without purchasing this truck and was out money to fly out and back despite my phone conversations to confirm the mechanical and cosmetic condition. They said it was in great condition on the phone and on their E Bay description but once we arrived they kept saying "it's an old truck and it's not perfect". Perfection was not the expectation but honesty about the condition and being road worthy was, knowing I planned to drive it over the road, they should have made sure basic functions like brake and turn lights work, much less all the other issues i listed. This truck was not safe to drive! Would think ~$45k would buy a vehicle that you felt safe to drive but it's not, not from these guys. They are dishonest ,...
