Visited 2/22/22 Twosday. National Margarita day. It’s not too often that I leave bad review, I’m not a particularly harsh critic however when the whole experience is trash there is much to be said. To start off, I ordered a ā€œperfect patron margaritaā€ in a celebratory take home cup shaped like a patron bottle in honor of national margarita day. It was less than perfect and a lot less margarita all for 12$. Let’s set one thing straight, I rarely complain about money or prices. I do look at overall cost during reviews and this was one bill that frankly was not worth half of its value. My partner and I ordered wings as an appetizer. Expensive but understandable due to a national chicken shortage or inflation or which ever excuse of the day we desire. We ordered anyway like 10 for 14$. They came out much too tiny and hardly spicy or hot at all however, there wasn’t much fatty rubbery parts and the quality of what meat we could find was decent. My partner had ordered the salmon burger and was dissatisfied. I agreed it was nothing to write home about. I ordered my self the ā€œPub avocado saladā€ and added seared tuna to it with lemon dill vinaigrette on the side. For 21$ it was the best thing about our whole visit. The bar tenders were nice as we usually do like sitting bar side during outings. Generally, you are more likely to get better service and personality. Like in this instance, that is not always the case. Again, nothing to write home about. I remember we were forgotten more than once and we joked about the establishment and its workers simply just not liking us. Keep in mind that while out on visits, I don’t run my server excessively, I tip well regardless, I grew up serving and retired bartending and I always try to engage or mix up someone’s day in a positive way. I like anything that breaks up monotony of everyday routine and same old bores. After our meal, we decided to cheers tequila. Shots were tiny as well for 8$ each for Jose Cuervo. The bathrooms were in good shape, at least. All in all, do not recommend this place. It was just too overpriced for mediocre food, drink and experience.

We went on a Monday night and we haven't been to this place since 2010 when it was named Blue eyes (and had the best bruschetta I've ever had in my life). Our server was named Mikey he was attentive, polite, and struck up a nice conversation. Our drinks were strong and came fairly quickly ( Crown Apple and ginger ale for my lady Jack and Ginger for me). Since it was late we didn't order any entrees. We just ordered appetizers. The star of the show hands down were the sweet potato fries. For some reason I've always avoided them for years but my fiance offered them to me and I finally tried them and holy bananas - They were good! With the cinnamon butter 😮😲 #UmNomNom. My fiance ordered the nachos, the spinach & artichoke dip and traditional sweet honey wings (eyes were bigger than her stomach). She liked the nachos. The salsa wasn't to my liking so I did not prefer them but it was a large serving. The artichoke dip neither one of us really liked. It was like some type of sour cream based sauce covered in cheese with artichokes and sparsely sprinkled spinach. She really liked her wings but since she had ordered so much she didn't have an appetite and we ended up taking them home. I ordered the loaded tater tots ( and they were good I just wish there were more) bacon, sour cream, chives. Maybe some green onion too and cheese. You can't go wrong with that. I also ordered traditional mild wings with blue cheese on the side. The wings were meaty. I'm a drum guy but since I ordered 10 wings and they gave me five drums of five flats I can't complain. Washed that down with a blue moon and headed home happy.

Our waitress was just the absolute sweetest, very nice and polite and always around when we needed her.

I got the colcannon soup.

My mother got a Rueben sandwich with potato chips and the soup du jour, a pulled pork vegetable soup.

My father got a bacon blue cheese salad and calamari. We all shared a pile o' potatoes fry platter (fries with cheese, bacon and scallions.)

The colcannon soup was seriously the most delicious soup I've ever had at any restaurant. I brought some home and reheated it and it's still delicious! For those that don't know, colcannon is a potato soup with leeks and cabbage. I'm definitely NOT a cabbage person, and this soup was delicious.

My mother's Rueben sandwich looked very good. The meat was really piled on there and looked like good quality. The only downside to the sandwich was that it fell apart very easily (although my dad said that that's usually a sign that it's good. Not sure how.) Her potato chips were super super good. They're clearly homemade and very lightly salted. I crumbled some up into my soup and they added a great crunch.

Unfortunately, the pulled pork soup was pretty nasty. My mother took a bite and immediately pushed it away. She can be a little picky, so I decided to try it. Something about it just tasted strange. It wasn't salty or spicy or anything, but I felt it had almost a strong cilantro-type flavor to it. I definitely didn't like that.

My father's salad looked great, really good quality blue cheese and real crumbled bacon bits. The vegetables looked fresh and crisp, the lettuce wasn't wilted or brown at all.

The calamari was a close second to being my favorite of the evening. Super crisp and crunchy, not chewy at all, and great flavor in the breading. I wish I had ordered mine without the jalapenos and peppers, personally, but that's a preference.

The cheese fries were absolutely delicious. Even without all the toppings, I would have gladly eaten an entire plate of the fries. They were just lightly salted and the only ones that were ever limp or soggy were totally drenched in cheese. The only thing that I noticed, only after we had eaten, was that ours came topped with what looked like parsley instead of scallions. A minor change, and one that didn't make a big difference, but I did notice afterwards.

The entire atmosphere of the place is really just amazing. The pub is beautiful and all the servers were very friendly and open. I love the uniforms, they're so classic Irish (kilts, knee-highs, and aprons).

I do have to remark on the prices as well! The most expensive thing on the entire menu was $16 dollars, and that was for a grilled salmon dish. Everything else was very reasonably priced and our only disappointment of the night was my mother's soup.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there, and I'm actually going back Tuesday for my graduation dinner. I really can't...

A week ago a group of about 15 went to watch the play off sixers game we had arrived their at about 2 on a Saturday. We had drank beer and ordered a good amount of food. We felt bad for the bartender because he was the only one bartending I would say for at least an hour, so it was hard getting a drink and food, but was not this guy's fault he was doing the best he could. Fast forward to 8 that night most of the people in our group we're feeling the buzz, I was DD so I didn't drink. It all started with someone reaching over to grab a beer from the bartender and a drink spilling. The manager(I'm assuming who it was) came over with someone to mop up the floor and was extremely rude with the way he asked us to move so the guy could mop. When he was done our friend went to walk over to talk to someone and slipped the manager grabbed his arm, and flagged him like it was his fault, our friend, yes, had a few words for the guy, but the floor wasn't mopped all the way. While all this was going on a family of 4 came to sit at a table on the bar side with two kids who looked under 10. At this point the bar is pretty packed with plenty of people, you could barely move around. I would say 5 minutes after our friend fell, the manager (again I'm assuming that's who he was) came over to tell us all we had to leave, the family of four apparently told him someone threw up, and he had to comp there meal. Nobody threw up, there was no throw up be seen. He was extremely rude to at least 20 (by this time) paying customers that spent at least $1000 that day, and complained about a $50 meal comp. This man had no proof or reason to kick us out. He was beyond unprofessional, we had done nothing wrong. We weren't acting out of control. We were a group of 25+ years olds out on a Saturday night enjoying drinks and music with our friends. Extremely disappointed with how things happened, especially knowing this is a place we frequent often.

I was also looking into having a party here, that won't be happening anymore. My business will be taken elsewhere.

**On a side note the bartenders are amazing!! I'd give them 5 stars. They were attentive throughout the night and when this was all happening they were apologetic and helped everyone close out their tabs and boxed up ALL the food...
