The only reason I am giving a two instead of a one star is because the food is good. However, I ordered eleven dollars worth of food, while ten is their minimum. They asked me if I could order more food since I'm "far" we really aren't far, I've gone there before. I said no thank you and hung up. She called back and said she was "just asking" , and if not they could still make it for me. I said that was all I wanted. Food got here pretty fast, but the delivery guy says I gave him $13 when the total was 12.20. I had a five and ten ones in my hand, and only had one dollar left. I had given him 14. I asked him to count it again. He did, but not where I could see and count for myself. So he said it was $13 again "Yeah it's $13 so 80 cents tip" I acted as though I didn't see what he was doing, and gave him the dollar. So he just schemed me out of a dollar because they felt I was too far to order. What that means is they just lost my business. While I haven't ordered much recently, I've ordered many times since I moved a year ago, sometimes two to three times a week. The thing is, I had usually ordered through grubhub, and this was the ONE time I called them. If they had that issue, they could have charged for delivery rather than scheming me out of money. The most important thing in the world is honesty, and what they did was dishonest. So? See ya...
Read moreWe ordered through Grub Hub. After many updates, the last one said delivery would be between 9:10-9:20pm. It finally arrived at 9:45pm. After my husband found that 3 of the items were wrong/missing, the restaurant was closed. I went to work the next day before they opened, so tried to contact GrubHub. Got Queued at 99 in line Five times before being told the restaurant REFUSED to refund our money for the wrong food and wanted to know what time I would be home from work so they could re-deliver the correct food. My husband did not want food (especially raw fish that takes well over an hour to get delivered) after complaining (chance of messing with said food?) From a restaurant he no longer trusted. They still refused refund for just the missing food and GrubHub chat did not even end the chat- just disappeared. I was back in queue in 70th in line. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. NEVER...
Read moreBeen living in SJ for 10+ years and this is still my go to Chinese takeout and dine in. The comments here are so mean and after reviewing some recent ones… well Covid have happened it doesn’t help that the country itself is filled with mostly ungrateful Americans. The food is still good, there has been some changes but I never had problems with this place. Probably because I am also respectful and you receive what you give I guess. The place can use some upgrades and upkeeping but before you hurt a business, ensure you reflect how you are treating workers. It is hard out here and businesses themselves are just trying to thrive and make it back from Covid years. Jin-Jin I hope you keep improving, like all of us, we can all have...
