Privet House — Local services in Washington

I have to lead with a response to seeing a one star review from Maryann Porter who absolutely confused two different stores. I say that with confidence because not once but twice “J Seitz & Co” the experience was horrible as on two separate occasions my in-laws and myself were followed horribly around the store and another time with my mother. The experience was the most unpleasant shopping experience we have had. They are rude and unfriendly. Please lead with caution going to “J Seitz & Co.”

Privet House on the other hand has always been a wonderful place to shop. The owner and her team make you feel like you’re among friends while shopping and browsing the beautiful curated items they sell. I can say this all day long but please run to Privet House and you’ll experience this for yourself! If I can leave more than 5 stars the owner and her team deserve every bit of it! Thank you for a wonderful experience, looking forward to the next time already!

Large variety of small to oversized cutting boards, made from different hard woods. Candles, scents, soap and diffusers. Gorgeous furniture and home accessories displayed throughout the upstairs and downstairs. Vintage books. Privet Live pop-up shop next door always surprises and delights. And much more. I cannot begin to say how great of an experience I have had ordering from Privet House. The selection is that of a upscale European boutique with the customer service of a small hometown store. Even over mail order, their communication is excellent, my items were shipped immediately, and the packaging was thoughtful and successful.
