Rainbow Shops — Local services in Washington

3 stars and I'm pushing it. I've decided (under Drs advice) to walk more so I walked on Minnesota Avenue. I didn't expect much not did I get much. Rainbow staff arent trained to service a customer but you quickly know that from the prices. Items are marked incorrectly size wise. DONT buy without a try. That's a waste of your time. Staff would rather talk to each other than customers. More staff than customers. That didn't make me go hmm. This is a seriously junky store packed to the brim. NO AC, no space to move. Alabama ave and Hechinger mall are better kept. Not a good stopping off place to shop around. Their internet site is so much better than this...

The staff is very helpful and nice. The store has a lot of great stuff for reasonable prices.

I would give this store 3 stars only because of the associate that believes it is ok to treat customers like they mean nothing to the company. I recently went into the store on Saturday around 3:00-3:30pm and was not greeted nor helped with a garment that was out of my reach. I did not get the associate’s name but, she was young, tall with glasses. She was so busy on the phone that she didn’t acknowledge the fact that I was trying to get her attention. I don’t believe the manager even noticed which made me not even want to shop...
