We’re from Georgia visiting the area. Saw news story about store on tv and was so impressed by it that we decided to drive 60 plus miles just to check it out. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Loved the old time feel of the store compared to today’s big chain stores. The owner, Matt, was so helpful and friendly. I visited this hardware store today, and I am impressed! This is what businesses are missing. The customer service, general knowledge of products, and their willingness to make sure you get what you need. So refreshing. It's no further of a drive from shreveport than going to bossier city....

I was charged $16.79 for a part that was marked $11.99. The raised hell for me asking for a refund on the difference. Clerk was very rude! Owner FINALLY refunded the difference reluctantly. No more going in there for me after 20 years. I don't like A holes for...
