Bearly Used Boutique — Local services in Waterville

I consigned here for a bit. At first I got some credit and used it. Then they just suddenly started saying I wasn't in the system even though they confirmed that I was listed as using credit from my account the previous week. I have been back several times for resolution and they keep brushing me off stating I am not in there, the account that was previously in my name has no name, etc. said they would call back and never did. (Update:their response to this saying it is the first they heard of it is not true and "every six months" ummm...as mentioned, I was in the week before issues started and was checking in weekly-there was never a large time gap-such a dishonest reply!) I had just brought in several bags of clothes and baby items including a couple of large items and now apparently they will just keep the profits (the larger items were gone two days after dropping off and when I inquired was just given essentially a shrug). I used to love this place but now I am just appalled that they would just keep and sell SO many items and offer nothing to resolve the "error" in supposedly losing me in their system. It seems very dishonest and unethical. Even if not consigning anymore, I won't but from a place that is willing to treat customers this way. They could have at least made some attempt to resolve or explain, all the times I have been in to ask about this. I should have paid close attention to the dismissive/rude responses to any issues people posted. Re-quoting policies that don't have to do with the issues is unhelpful...

Did business with them roughly 2 months ago. Consigned 2 suits. Received a partial payment over a month ago and am still waiting to be paid the remainder. Very dissatisfied with how things have been handled thus far.

The owner was absolutely incredible. I had an issue amd she called me personally to discuss (and resolve) it.

I can admit when I'm wrong. It was a very confusing situation and she explained everything in detail and I cant say enough nice things about her.

I don't typically have things I need to get rid of but would recommend her on every level. Her professionalism is unmatched. Would recommend paying her...

Such a beautiful little store with quality name brand clothing for an affordable price. They even sell their clothing mostly in outfits. You don’t even have to find something to match; it’s done beautifully and stylish for you. The girls are also so amazing and welcoming and they go out of their way to ensure we have a great shopping experience. I’ve been shopping at Barley Used for over 25 years!
