Not happy at all. At 5:48 pm today I ordered dinner for two, my husband ordered fire chicken appetizer and I ordered fire chicken salad, an order of egg rolls and a side of white rice. They said an hour wait for pick up. We showed up about 10 minutes after the hour, My husband paid and told ten more minutes. My husband sat there for another hour waiting while multiple people came in getting bags of food before us. I had a missed call and it was from the store, which when I called back the man stated he knew my husband was there waiting and that he was calling back to ask if brown rice would be okay to give, I said okay. At 7:55 pm my husband returned home (we live 3 minutes away) our food was cold and they never gave us our rice but we paid for it. The food taste was good but who wants to pay $75 for cold food and had to wait an hour more than what we were told. This is ridiculous. I hate to be that person but I feel like a refund should be given or the equivalent in a free meal. The guy did give my husband a 10-% off next order, but that doesn’t fix what we just paid for. When I called back to complain they had closed. If you didn’t have what we ordered someone should’ve refunded for that portion, if we were going to be another hour wait he shouldn’t have let my husband sit there waiting on the “10” mins he originally was told. Obviously our food wasn’t cooked at that point we could’ve gone else where.
Waiting two hours for the little food we ordered and the price is just not worth it.Super unprofessional. I’m so irritated about this because we were excited to try this out as we dine in Thai...
Read moreMy wife and I at the restaurant. They apparently have a good take out crowd as well, but we were very impressed by the use of space and decorations. The seats in the booths were okay, but one person is always gonna have to sit on a bench that has a bar in an awkward place in their back. It didn't take away from too much in my opinion. However, the food was very good! They make a crispy style noodle that isn't traditional from what I can tell but was heavily requested from other customers. I greatly enjoyed the Double Happiness I had. My wife and I both had a good experience and enjoyed what we ate. The restaurant even sells a few different types of sauces and spices that are in the realm of personal Thai cooking. We each bought a pair of neat chopsticks while we were there and they have been holding up nicely! We stopped here basically on a whim, but I would definitely recommend this place. I love trying out different Thai restaurants, and this one was...
Read moreOk food, very non traditional... apparently they do not use fish sauce?! I've never heard of this at a Thai place... the food seemed to be stepped down to "americanized" pallets... there version of tom kha "coconut soup" was very lacking.. thai food is supposed to be a balance of sweet, hot, sour, and salt... this was just hot and sour, barely any coconut flavor at all, plus it had broccoli in it? The spring rolls are called "fried egg rolls" on the menu, and the are using spring roll wrappers, not egg roll wrappers(big difference)... my pad thai came with a side of liquid palm sugar? Very strange... its almost like if someone who had never tried thai food before decided to google how to make thai food, and omitted ingredients they didn't like... the food wasn't bad, just a far cry from what you...
