Ah Harvest Moon, this location is the best location. Why you might ask? COLBY. COLBY COLB.Y THE BEST EMPLOYEE. he undisputed MVP of the deli. Seriously, this guy saves sandwiches. I’m convinced that the secret ingredient in every sandwich is Colby’s sheer dedication The Steak Me Home Tonight sandwich? Hands down the best in the universe, and Colby makes it perfectly every time. And you know what else? He remembers that I HATE MUSHROOMS (I LOATHE them) and never, ever puts them anywhere near my food. That’s customer service right there. He even remembers my name??? MY NAME??? COLBY? MY NAME??? HE IS THE BEST. HE IS THE HERO OF SANDWHICHES.

But it’s not just about the food—Colby brings a whole lot of humor to the table. He wrote a hilarious note on our receipt, making us laugh. I’m convinced his jokes are almost as important as the sandwiches themselves. Colby is the real star here, and honestly, he deserves a raise, a crown, and maybe even a sandwich named after him. I had been wanting to try this place out for the longest time, and me and my mom were looking for a place to have lunch, so we went, early afternoon on a weekday, only one person sitting when we got there, nice place, quiet, 60's and 70's rock playing over the speakers, 60's and 70' musicians on the walls, Hendrix, John Lennon, etc. We both skimmed the menu over for about 5 minutes or so deciding what we wanted, I got a Rueben sandwich and tomato basil soup. My mom got the sharp dressed pecan salad and beef and barley soup. The Rueben was spectacular. The tomato basil and beef and barley were great hearty pure soup. The salad was huge, and though it was 13 dollars, it was worth the money. Customer service was also great. $45.00 for two people for what we ordered seems like a lot, but you're not just paying for food. you're paying for quality food. After making a few deliveries in the Waterville area, lunch brings me to the Harvest Moon Delis at 295 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville. Been meaning to try this place out. After reviewing the menu, ordered "We Got The Beef" Panini and a New England style potato salad. The Panini has rare roast beef, pepper jack cheese, spinach, tomatoes, avocado and homemade chipotle ranch on wheat bread. It was wrapped nicely and warm. Full of flavor and easy to handle. A good balance of portions. The potato salad came in a container with a lid. Kinda a no thrills in the flavor department. The potato were in square cubes. Had lunch around noon time. Got my order in before the big crowd. Seems to be a big hit in the area. Popular amoung the college students. Welcoming atmosphere and sort clean. The bathroom 🚻 was in good shape with wall deco.
