T.J. Maxx — Local services in Waterville

It has all of things that you would want from a TJ Maxxm. In fact, it's quite a nice store. However, it's the only store we've visited in the last month in Maine where there were patrons not wearing masks. I asked the young employee at the entrance if masks were required, and she said, "Yes, but if they refuse, there's nothing I can do about it." That's a sign of poor management that's not willing to support it's employees during a very stressful time. So, if you are at all concerned about your health during this pandemic, do not patronize this TJ Maxx. Store is well laid out with an amazing array of discount merchandise. I dont always make a purchase at TJMaxx but i always see something that makes me think hard about it. Parking is easy, right off Kennedy Memorial Drive. Shout out to the patient and helpful front end crew. On my last visit I observed them assist a disabled person which took a disproportionately long time . I observed a level of patience and compassion that went above and beyond what i would have expected and staff were eventually able to find a way to help that customer. ...

I found this store to be unorganized, no sizes in correct spots. Boy clothes in with Girls &my Boy said those are for Girls. Staff hiding in the back chatting with one another, then when asked for assistance, it's like you're "putting them out, asking them to help you find something & you get an attitude!" Prices are reasonable, yet went to JC Penny's afterwards and found 4 outfits for what I paid for 1 at. TJ Maxx, we returned that outfit today.
