Called to set up an appointment for dreadlocks, Josephine set me up to come in at 8am the next day. I arrived at 8:06 and had to wait until 8:47 (41mins later) for her to show up. Then the inside of the store was very Unkept and Dirty. Over the phone Josephine told me that it was 100 dollars even though I said my hair was already very long. When I got there she said its going to be more then 100 because she has to tease my hair because of the texture and that's it's more work for her. She didn't tell me the new price, she asked how much more I had on me I said 50, so it just so happened to go up to 150!(she came up) She started my dreads which is the only good part and she answered all my questions. Then when my hair was under the dryer, she left the store and I was in there completely alone for about 25 mins i had to unlock the door for one of her customers, Very unprofessional. im just disappointed with the service. She used heavy bees wax all over my dreads like glue, the. Told me not to wash it for 2 months…. 3 weeks in my scalp had heavy build up and I started having red sores all over. April 2019........I had just moved out here & was my first time trying cheerful hair braiding & definitely the last. I had 2 people on my hair, which timing was not a problem however maybe more time was needed. It’s been 1 week and 6 braids in the back have came out I can’t even wear my hair down because braids are constantly falling out. The branding is so loose in the back & my braids already look horrible within 1 week. The length was perfect but I’m an highly upset with the braids themself. The back of my head is over I literally have to take my hair down and spend more money just to be satisfied. RIDICULOUS!! I knew this place was sketchy when there was an issue with pricing and from the owner mouth herself she said “ The prices online are just to get customers in” so don’t believe what you see online. You will pay more than what your hoping! I really believed in you guys sadly I won’t be coming back! Goodluck! Thanks for the experience...

I give this place a thumbs up, I called the morning I wanted to get my hair done when Josephina answered the phone she was very polite . I asked her if someone in the shop knew how to “ interlock dreads”( a rare form of matinence for already locked hair) she said yes and that she would be the one to do it and that I could come anytime that day. I got excited and then asked her how much it would be to interlock and she 70 I was sold, I told her I would call later when I planned to come. I believe it was definitely worth the 34 minutes it took me to arrive. We talked and laughed as she did my hair which was cool cause it was definitely tight and I needed a distraction she did a very gud job, clear parts tight roots and with my kinky curly hair she definitely grabbed the hair and made it very neat.
