Emergency Room at SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital — Local services in Waupun

I went last friday to get seen and the staff are nice specially nurse Alyssa. CNP Melissa Czerwinski Who take care of me she is very nice she understand what i feel. All my concern she adressed it very well its very nice having a provider who listen and understand what you going through. Sue the lady who did my ultra sound did a great job at first i am scared doing the vaginal ultra sound coz of my past experience in other hospital but when she do it i dont feel hurt i even talk to her while she’s doing it for the first time i didnt cry. But i went for follow up hcg blood test today sunday morning i talk to the er front desk and explain it to her that i have a follow up hcg blood test she told me that they dont do blood test even i gave her the note that its stated the specific date that i need to complete the blood work today sunday morning I even told her what the CNP told me last friday but she still says “We dont do blood work at sunday” She didnt even read the paper i gave it to her. I went home and i call again try to reach out Melissa but the lady at front desk who answer the phone just hang up after she know my name. Whoever the front desk working at sunday very rude. Thank you for all the staff who work...

Brought my 14 month daughter in with a deep laceration on her index finger and skin clearly hanging on. Bleeding wouldn't stop for well over half an hour before we brought her in and with her age we wanted her seen. When I got there I was ecstatic to see no other people were in the waiting room. Even so...it took them about half an hour to bring us back for triage (meanwhile daughter was still bleeding.) They wrapped it in gauze and said "we're going to have you wait in the waiting room until the doctor can see you. We don't know how long that could be though." Waited...with a 14 month old...bleeding...and not handling the gauze well...over THREE HOURS to be seen by the doctor! Meanwhile, two other people who came in after us were in and out before we were even called back to see the doctor finally. Daughter was FINALLY treated after three and a half hours! Bleeding never stopped. The doctor barely looked at her laceration and wanted us to choose the option we wanted (wrapping, glue, or stitches). WHAT?! You're the doctor...tell us which would be best! Long story short...If a little baby girl with the tip of her finger dangling has to wait that long and then barely be looked at...I strongly recommend...

Always extremely slow. Took over 3 hours for a simple diagnosis today that I already knew what I had and what had to be prescribed before even coming in. Doc refused to even enter room for over 2 hours until after x-ray and lab tests were run, without even seeing me at all first. By the time I was able to leave with the exact prescriptions I figured would be prescribed, all Pharmacies in a half hour radius we're closed, rx was sent to Fond Du Lac Walgreens as the ER stated they were 24 hour, drove all the way there just to see that they closed at 6. Now have to wait until tomorrow to try to get Walgreens to fill at a closer location and finally get the rx I need. In addition, the doc on duty only spent 1-2 min in the room the whole time I was there and would barely let me get a word in, cutting me off every other sentence. I could understand if they were busy, but my vehicle was literally the only vehicle in the parking lot. Side note, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming asside...
