DG Market — Local services in Waupun

I usually go in the afternoon/evening and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually end up seeing either Samie, Lori, Tammy, or Shy. Also see Rogene quite a bit when I go in during the day. Want to mention these awesome ladies by name since they're always so helpful and happy and friendly. I have never had any issues here. Plus I have seen them all have to deal with some outrageously rude customers and situations, always with a smile and friendly polite attitude and they do all they can to help, even when people are cussing them out over ridiculous things....They do all they can to maintain a clean, safe, and friendly environment in the store (greet you when you walk in, help you find an item, etc) I don't see the manager too often (Jamie) cuz I just don't go in during the day so much but she's always been super helpful and kind. She seems like she could be stern if needed, but she's always gone above and beyond for me as far as customer service. I know I go here quite often but the ladies I see more often evwn know me by name, and I've seen them often greet other regulars by name, which, for a chain store, makes it much more comfortable and them more approachable. I have been trying to do more good reviews when I receive above average/expected service, since most people only review if they have a problem. Miss the old employees at the old store more friendly more knowledgeable. These new people have zero training had 3 people try to help made made me sit there, most not trying to help and more excuses to avoid helping me or just being nosy with no help at all. Finally they took my phone # said manager be in later and give me a call… waited patiently no call. Used to visit the small store I would say twice to three times a month. Now New store new bigger problems and lack of good employees’ I will probably visit even less. Hope you all can make it with the new store. But small town will probably feel as I do and visit less like myself. Waste of time here and lack of hard working employees is my guess gonna hurt people more than it does good.
