They seriously have the best chicken I've eaten anywhere! Pretty much all of their food is great! I see alot of people complaining about having to wait for their food... If you want FRESH food, expect to wait.. if you don't, then just go elsewhere and don't complain. They are also severely understaffed, so usually the people there are doing the best they can. I would LOVE to give 5 stars but a few things need to be fixed. Even though they are understaffed, a couple of the people need to be let go. They obviously do not take the job seriously. I understand mistakes happen but you shouldn't be getting almost every order wrong when you're not even busy. we've had to drive all the way back after we got home to sit down to get the rest of our food multiple times. And I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Also we've been there at times when it's not busy and sometimes we were the only people sitting there and the fountain pop area looks just disgusting. The tray needs to be scrubbed out that the lid sit in, the whole area is all sticky, the machine itself is all gunky around where the pop comes out. while the lazy workers are standing around they could easily have wipe that down and cleaned it properly. I personally don't see a problem if employees kids want to come in once in awhile but they should be behaved while there. They shouldn't be running around, being super loud, etc. If they are there they should be quietly sitting in a seat. We hopped off of 151 for a quick lunch at A&W. I'm so glad we did! While I was a little unsure about it since it is attached to a convenience store, it made no difference at all. The staff were very attentive and took our order quickly and accurately, even making some helpful suggestions. As we waited for our food, we observed the manager(?) coaching a staff member on how to properly clean and sanitize the tables and chairs. She was very particular and very detailed. To my surprise, someone brought our food out to our table! The presumed manager was then seen coaching another staff member on how to approach customers and ask how the food was, if they needed anything, and so on. She is clearly a caring, compassionate supervisor. I had the chicken tenders which were very hot, moist, with just the right amount of breading. The cheese curds were as good as any I've had anywhere else. My wife's sandwich was also delicious (she gave me a taste). This A&W is head and shoulders above almost every other one we've visited. If we find ourselves in need of a quick meal on our way to/from Green Bay, we will DEFINITELY stop here again! BTW, there is even a public telephone in their parking lot, for anyone who hasn't...

This location is a disgrace. Once every 4-6 months I give this place a shot because their cheese curds are so delicious but the issues aren’t worth it. If you thought to yourself “oh I have an hour to make it to work I’ll stop at A&W in waupun to get a quick burger!” You may be disappointed after you sit in line for 1.5 hours stuck between a poorly laid out curb and two other cars. But at least you get to watch various drug deals go on out back from the drugged out high school dropout employees who can’t manage to get an order correct in an hours time. But I understand, why get the order right when you know after sitting in the drive thru for an hour and a half there is no way someone is going to come in and try to convince the A&W employees final brain cell they messed up your order.
