Horrible TWC Workforce office experiences each time. beginning with the receptionist to the assigned case worker, including lack of concern from the manager. Although they may be short staffed, after several occasions I find this office to be unprofessional in answering the phone, receiving a response back from case worker in timely manner, and lack of effective communication. Even if, you prepare in advance with open communication, often times your proactive process goes unnoticed as it relates to appointment and transportation etc. You can forget about it (receiving assistance), if you report the office to management or its overhead governing body. Ultimately, you are automatically deemed as non-compliant without any response to your original concerns, and there are areas of concern as it relates to discrimination as well. There is absolutely no need and should not be any tolerance for such findings in a public setting that represents the State of Texas with emphasis on rehabilitation of adult daily sustainable living expectations. Servicing the community how to live a better and sustainable life via education, training, work, etc. This place should not humiliate and discriminate or dehumanize those in need. Its hideous! Regardless of staffing issues etc. Ethics & professionalism is a must. I can only imagine those worse off than I. Its heartless based upon my personal experience. I can only speak for myself, and I am truly offended on all levels and gives me anxiety just thinking about how I have to appeal for a need not a want, based upon this nonsense. My passion is philanthropy work, and it's unfortunate I find myself on the other side of the fence. And I am saddened to say, this is not the only organization within this region of Texas whether non/for profit, in which displays this type of behavior! signed: Client- We need to do better to be better! Humility & Empathy cost you nothing when servicing the public...

Read moreI’ve called Washington D.C department OF Labor WIOA as I’ve received discrimination from the Texas Workforce Commission. They are screwing us over. I emailed greg Abbott yesterday
WIOA is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, rent of land support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. Congress passed the Act with a wide bipartisan majority; it is the first legislative reform of the public workforce system since 1998.
They will pay for you to go to school and/or on the job training.
I am currently enrolled in the university of Texas in Arlington for my bachelors degree in electrical engineering at 35 because the waxahachie Texas workforce discriminated against me in 2006/7…
